2007 - Nashville, Tennessee

On January 1, 2007, this man was walking alongside Interstate I-24 in the Nashville area, when he suddenly turned and ran into traffic. He was struck by a vehicle and died at the scene.

He was estimated to have been between the age of 18 and 35, and was wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, brown belt, and white Fila tennis shoes. He appeared to be Hispanic, weighing around 150 pounds and about 5-feet, 6-inches tall, according to officials.

One of his most distinguishing characteristics was a rose tattoo on his upper left chest that read, “Jamie Y Mi Amor Sandra.”, which would suggest that Jamie might his first name (or possibly his child's name) and that he had a significant other named Sandra.

17 years after his death, this man is still Unidentified. Do you recognize him? Perhaps his tattoo looks familiar? This is 12-year-old Maria Gomez-Perez she had been missing from her home in Gainesville, Georgia since May 29, 2024. She was recently found over 1,000 miles away from home, in Dover, Ohio with a complete stranger.

Antonio Agustin was arrested and is being held in the Tuscarawas County Jail on charges of interference with custody, but Ohio officials could later seek charges of r**e and other crimes. Georgia authorities are likely to seek additional criminal charges against Augustin.

Police stated she met him through Facebook messenger and was communicating with other adults as well. She told Agustin that she was unhappy and wanted to leave home.

The police were only able to find her when she made another Facebook account and messaged her father to let him know that she was fine, but wasn’t coming home and wanted him to stop looking for her.

We are so thankful that Maria was found and is now safe and receiving the help that she needs. Please parents use this as a warning to monitor your children's activities online, know who they're communicating with always on social media and on games. It is a scary world out there for kids.

A 12-YEAR-OLD ACCUSED OF MURDERING HER 8-YEAR-OLD COUSIN.

The details from the District Attorney in Gibson County, TN are chilling.
Police in the city of Humboldt were investigating the death of the 8-year-old child on Monday, July 15.
They recovered video that shows the 12-year-old female used bedding to suffocate her cousin while the victim was sleeping in the top bunk of bunk beds they shared.
After the suffocation, the suspect cleaned up the victim and repositioned her body.
THAT’S RIGHT … the 12-year-old accused killer tried to cover up the crime.
She is now charged with First Degree Murder and Tampering with Evidence.
The D-A says:
“I consider this to be one of the most disturbing violent acts committed by either an adult or juvenile that my office has prosecuted.”
Now, if convicted — under Tennessee law the Juvenile Court loses jurisdiction once the suspect turns 19.
At that time, she goes free.
With that in mind, the D-A is seeking to have the 12-year-old transferred to adult court.
If convicted there the 12-year-old faces life in prison.

Alison Chao is 15 years old, she was last seen July 16, 2024 leaving her home at 200 North Ynez Ave. in Monterey Park, California riding her blue GT Mountain Bike. She was on her way to her grandmother's house a few blocks away but never made it there and hasn't been seen since. 🚨🚨Police in Canton, Illinois are searching for a missing 2-year-old child currently. 🚨🚨

According to officials, the child walked away from her home in the 500 block of Custer Place at around 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Canton Police are asking any residents in the area to please check their property. However they are asking the general public to stay clear of the area as thet conduct the search.

She is described as weighing approximately 25 lbs with dirty blonde hair and was last seen in blue pajamas.

The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 31-year-old Brent Copeland of Clarksville.

Brent’s family last spoke to him on Monday, July 8, 2024 and paid for a bus ticket to get him to Knox County TN.

Brent boarded a Greyhound bus in Clarksville on Tuesday, July 8, 2024 at approximately 9:00 p.m. that went to Nashville but he did not board the connecting bus.

Brent is approximately 5’9” tall, and weighs about 196 pounds, with RED hair, and BLUE eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white and black shirt, blue jeans, and a backpack.

If anyone sees Brent or knows of his whereabouts, please call 911 so officers can check on her welfare. See attached photo.

Shannon Elaine Riley Arif
Missing 26 years.
Missing since March 17th, 1998
Arif was last seen in Clarksville, Tennessee on March 17, 1998. Her husband, a soldier stationed at nearby Fort Campbell, saw her before he left for work at 9:40 a.m.

She was scheduled to work at Walmart from 4:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. that day, but she never showed up. After she didn't return home from work that evening, her husband went to Walmart and found her car in the parking lot, locked, with her purse still inside. He reported her missing

Arif has never been heard from again, and since she was last seen her bank account hasn't been touched. According to one coworker, she was having marital problems, and authorities looked into the possibility that she had simply left on her own, but they became suspicious after an extended time period passed with no indication of her whereabouts.

A search of the two-and-a-half mile radius around the Walmart turned up no indication of her whereabouts. Her disappearance remains unsolved
In an article from 2022, WKRN reports it was discovered that Shannon was newly pregnant.
Her father, Arthur Riley, says he’s been in pain since she's been missing, “I mean I held onto hope for decades, but hope is a word that as time goes on grows thinner,” Riley said.

UNIDENTIFIED IN NEW YORK
On January 17, 2021 skeletal remains of an Asian or Hispanic male were discovered off Richmond Terrace, near Mariner's Marsh Park in . It’s estimated he had been deceased for years since 2004-2006.

The male is estimated to have been between 16 and 22 years old at the time of death and stood approximately 5’00”-5”04” tall. His hair color and eye color is unknown.

He was found wearing a dark blue long-sleeve sweatshirt with a logo of "Baseball '01" on the front, a white T-shirt with "Island All Star " printed on the front, Route 66 pants, a black sports headband, black socks, and black Timberland boots. A lighter and brown wallet containing a 2005 calendar was also found with him.

This is the latest update on the hunt for the person who murdered 23-year-old Army Pfc. Katia Duenas Aguilar in Clarksville TN on May 18, 2023. A few things jump out at me right away from reading the autopsy results;
1) 68 stab wounds most likely means this was personal not a random attack.
2) The majority of the wounds were to her right side meaning high possibly of a right handed attacker.
3) Her blood alcohol concentration of 0.161 and 30 mcg/dL of Gamma-Hydroxybutyric Acid (GHB), which is a Schedule I controlled substance that also goes by the brand name Xyrem, or more commonly known as "date r**e drug" most likely means she was either out with someone on the night she was attacked in her home or she invited someone over to have a few drinks. Meaning that she knew the person that attacked her also no mention of her home being broken into again more evidence that she most likely knew the attacker and let them into her home.

Whatever the case may be the person responsible needs to be caught and there is a $55,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of this person. Anyone with information or additional video footage is asked to please contact Detective Hofinga at 931-648-0656, ext. 5720.

As the investigation into the murder of a Fort Campbell soldier continues, new details surrounding the cause of her death have emerged, including that she was stabbed dozens of times.

MISSING | 8 month old baby missing in Reynolds Station Kentucky; both parents arrested.

Kentucky State Police opened an investigation after a search warrant and welfare check concerning 8 month old Miya Tucker was conducted.

Troopers arrested and charged the mother of the missing child, 29 year old Tesla Tucker, of Reynolds Station with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abandonment of a minor.

30 year old Cage C. Rudd, of Reynolds Station, was also arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abandonment of a minor.

Both have been lodged in Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Miya Tucker has brown hair and green eyes. She was last suspected to be in the care of her parents, Tucker and Rudd; however, she could not be found during the welfare check.

Ten year old Sammy Teusch took his own life on May 5 after enduring years of abuse at the hands of bullies at his school. His parents tried many times to get the school to step in and stop the bullying but ultimately nothing was done to those tormenting Sammy. The parents of the bullies did not intervene either and the bullying became too much for little Sammy to bear.
We are seeing this more and more in our schools and even though the schools say there is a zero tolerance on bullying it continues to go unchecked. When is enough going to be enough? Why is it only after a child loses their life that the school and police want to step in and do something to the abusers? I hope there are charges brought against everyone of the individuals who tormented Sammy and the school needs to be held accountable in some way too for failure to protect.
When our children are in public school the school is responsible for keeping them safe and making sure they're providing a safe environment free from abuse they failed to do that and it resulted in the death of an innocent child.

Indiana police have launched an investigation into the su***de of Sammy Teusch, who killed himself on May 5 after suffering years of brutal bullying that saw his classmates mock his teeth and glasses.

The family of Riley Strain have now hired lawyers as we continue to wait for the final toxicology reports. I pray that this report gives the family the answers they are seeking and provides them with some peace. It is unclear what exactly they have hired the law firm for but i suspect there could very well be a wrongful death lawsuit pending in the near future.

TOXICOLOGY IS IN AND RILEY STRAIN’S FAMILY HIRES A LAW FIRM.
As I first reported earlier this week, toxicology is back as part of the autopsy on Riley Strain.
The University of Missouri student was bar hopping with fraternity brothers in Msrch when he became separated and disappeared.
His body was found two weeks later in the Cumberland River.
The death has initially been ruled an accident, but it will be interesting to see what substances are found in his blood.
How much alcohol?
Any drugs?
The results should be released soon along with exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, Riley’s family has now hired the law firm Morgan and Morgan.
I had been in touch directly with the family.
I’m told now all media inquiries are to go through Morgan and Morgan.
I hardly think this law firm was hired just to handle the media.
Nothing has been filed yet … but that could change depending on what else is learned about the case.
The possibility is some type of lawsuit could be filed perhaps for wrongful death.
Who might be named?
The bar?
The fraternity?
The city of Nashville?
No idea, but I have a feeling we will find out soon.

On May 4, 2024 TBI was called to assist in investigating an unidentified male found floating in the Grainger County section of Norris Lake. The male is described as between 40-50 years old and 5'8" tall. Wearing blue and black plaid pajama pants, white socks, two Figaro chain necklaces, and a black and grey Timex watch. One of the necklaces had a cross pendant on it. Photos of the jewelry items are below.

Over 1,400 people are listed as missing in San Francisco, CA but many of these cases are sealed and are not being shared with the public. Without being shared how do they receive tips? How can the public help solve cases when we're not allowed access to even the most basic of information? Not so much as a missing flyer to share on social media. What's going on here?

Most cases of missing people in the city are never reported in the press. Parents say police hardly ever communicate with them about their cases.

Recently rumors have been spread, primarily on social media, that we have not allowed an organization called Midwest EquuSearch to take part in search efforts. This is incorrect, misleading and serves as a distraction away from our efforts to find Elijah. We have been in contact with many volunteer search organizations, as we work hand in hand to coordinate efforts. In our conversation with EquuSearch we utilized their expertise and they confirmed we are currently using the best technology and resources available.

At no time has any local, state or federal agency denied a volunteer organization from participating in any search nor have they needed our permission to engage in a search. We have utilized numerous search groups throughout this incident. These search groups, along with an immense amount of law enforcement resources, have utilized the highest levels of technology and expertise available in efforts to find Elijah. Nearly all these groups were either volunteer non-profit groups or funded through local, state or federal taxpayer dollars.

We have actively requested and encouraged the help of volunteers. Referencing past media releases and news stories clearly attest to our call for volunteers. The only restrictions to volunteer groups participating in any searches has been respecting private property, which is the same restriction we have as law enforcement.

The search for Elijah continues this week with searches conducted by canine units and the use of equestrian resources. In addition, we continue to follow up on tips and leads. Investigators continue analyzing an extremely large amount of video and other data with assistance from federal and state agencies.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) continues to remain the lead agency in this investigation with help from investigators from our agency, Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.

We continue to encourage participation in coordinated and legally permissible search efforts for Elijah. We have also remained in contact with Elijah’s family with assistance from DCI regarding the efforts of our searches.

We will continue to be the sole source of factual information in this investigation and will release more information as it becomes available. Thank you once again to our community, near and far, for all your efforts. Your support and assistance are greatly appreciated as we all strive to achieve our mission of finding Elijah.
