Thank you to everyone who showed up to vote! You should be proud.💖

Betty Friedan was a journalist and co-founder of the National Organization for Women. She was also one of the early leaders of the Women’s Rights Movement in the 1960s and ‘70s, and her book, “The Feminine Mystique” is argued to be one of the inspirations for the second-wave feminism movement. Friedan passed away in 2006, but her work lives on, inspiring feminists everywhere.
