We are actively linked to many independent artist music sources, with over 500 artists submitting music on a regular basis from around the world, including local favorites, country music artists from Nashville to Norway,
folk artists, hard rock, heavy metal and everything in between. We are closely tied to a number of Nashville events, including the Independent Songwriters Festival and the Independent Musicians Festival. Saturdays are dedicated to the history of entertainment and music. We start the day off at 8AM with the theater of the mind with "Rick Hagerty's Radio Roots" and then enjoy two hours of the big band and jazz greats of the 1920s, 30s and 40s with "Denny Farrell's Original Big Band Showcase." Matt the Cat then treats us to an hour of the lesser known R&B tracks from the 1940s and 50s with "Juke In The Back." Our good friends Paul Peters and Geoff Kemp joing us from the other side of the "lake" as they play the hits from the "Fabulous 50s." Speaking of hits, we can't forget the hits of the 1960s, 70s and 80s! Jeff Davis and J2 bring us two hours of "All the Hits" from that era, including a Super CFL countdown of the Top 10 hits and air checks and jingles from the Super CFL and WLS! RL and his crew will soon be throwing it down with dance and hip-hop mixes from 9PM through Sunday at 4AM with "The LCB Throwdown." Our audience listens to us everywhere... at home, on the road and at work! We'll soon be heard in dance clubs on Saturday nights during "The LCB Throwdown!" Our presence in the community continues to grow as we attend, and stream live in many cases, various events and venues. We're currently in talks to broadcast live from the Great Lakes Naval Base for Independence Day 2012.
