Mi5 Recordings International Record Label (Universal Music Group) A NEW VISION:

Mi5's vision of the future is a good one. This sounds idealistic. WHAT IS Mi5? Think James Bond.

It is a future where people have fun working on great projects in an open and creative atmosphere. But how can idealism become a moneymaking business? We at Mi5 “in-vision” branching out, charting untapped markets, utilizing the latest in Net Technology and business strategies to ensure that our artist's vision will be shared and their voices heard. To help accomplish this, we have worked hard at

the grass root level to ensure that our audiences will feel a particular bond with the Mi5 process, the artists, and their art. Hearing the voice of our audiences up close, noting their input, harnessing their enthusiasm, we have learned to put together packages that will become evermore successful in the market place. We cannot only bring artists to light; we can keep them there. Imagine Great Britain. Think Cold War ironies. Remember the CIA, the KGB, Pop Art chaos, and Radio Free Certainties. Yeah, you got it now! With our creative international line-up and U.K. roots, we not only answered the call to that kind of classic 60s feel, we ARE 21st century Multicultural Britain, a 21st century reality. In this time when pop music Gathers Dust, spills blood, and just drones on, we want to do something fun, up beat, witty and droll; we want to sharpen the edge in today's music scene. Mi5 Recordings is writing its long-range success story. We want to build careers, create opportunities, whether through our corporate contacts, recording and touring, or film work. We are not interested in the short-term gains for pennies at the expense of tomorrow’s dollars. We look into creating our own audience for Mi5 Recordings, and audience that will be loyal. We want to find an alternative solution that does not cost millions and will be an effective counter to the conglomerates’ dominance over the industry. We want our artists to share ideas and, in turn, we will follow up every lead that we can to bring about our goal. Mi5: In-vision possibilities today to A-rticulate, R- evolutionize, Thought for tomorrow.

Ok Rudy is #23 DRT Commercial Rock Radio and #123 top 150 indie. I would say that is pretty good for the first week out. He has some heavy competition there Green Day, Sleep Theory, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Linking Park , Blink-182, THE BLACK CROWES. Those are heavy hitters.

Well done, Mi5 Recordings/Universal Music Group/Virgin Music artist Dan Russell... a steady climb up the charts, #15 Commercial Rock Radio, up one from last week going head on against Pearl Jam, Green Day, Foo Fighters and the Black Crowes. Rock on. And... icing on the cake. Dan Russell hits #74 top 200 Pop Charts going against, can you believe? the biggest POP stars in the world. Eminem, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift. That is really hard to compete with… current pop stars… but Dan Russell is there. That is Commercial Pop radio. Congratulations Dan from all of us at Mi5/Virgin/UMG

Universal Music Group. The Beatles Now and Then https://youtu.be/Opxhh9Oh3rg?si=q7y1VBLVcvFnFcyQNow and Then's eventful journey to fruition took place over five decades and is the product of conversations and collaborations between the four Beatles that go on to this day. The long mythologised John Lennon demo was first worked on in February 1995 by Paul, George and Ringo as part of The Beatles Anthology project but it remained unfinished, partly because of the impossible technological challenges involved in working with the vocal John had recorded on tape in the 1970s. For years it looked like the song could never be completed. But in 2022 there was a stroke of serendipity. A software system developed by Peter Jackson and his team, used throughout the production of the documentary series Get Back, finally opened the way for the uncoupling of John’s vocal from his piano part. As a result, the original recording could be brought to life and worked on anew with contributions from all four Beatles. This remarkable story of musical archaeology reflects The Beatles’ endless creative curiosity and shared fascination with technology. It marks the completion of the last recording that John, Paul and George and Ringo will get to make together and celebrates the legacy of the foremost and most influential band in popular music history.
