Belle Journal A Literary Journal for Southern Voices and Visions www.bellejournal.com We encourage submissions from Southern women of all walks of life. Vol. III.

Belle Journal is a printed literary journal, produced by Southern women, which features literary and visual work by Southern women. The idea behind the journal is to undo the antiquated concept of a "Southern Belle" by publishing works that tell a gritty, and often horrific, version of the Southern experience. Essentially, the journal seeks to tell unique stories of individual Southern experiences

, as seen and felt by the women who live on this soil. Men are also welcome to submit under female pseudonyms. II is hot off the press and we are in the process of throwing some rad release parties around the South. Please come to an event if you are able! We have a rolling deadline on submissions.
