On 08/01/2024 at about 1pm, the marketing staff of Globus bank, Ikorodu, Lagos, a lady one Amarachi Ugochukwu aged 32yrs was found dead in the staff toilet.
It happened that she had left her phone on her table and the phone kept ringing which made her colleagues to start looking for her, after which the office toilet door was noticed to have been locked behind. However, the door was forcefully opened and her motionless body with an empty medium sized SNIPPER bottle and a diary where she wrote :-

"NOTHING IS WORKING IN MY LIFE"

"MY FIGURES ARE LOW"

"MY BRAIN IS CLOGGED UP"

"THE ECONOMY IS GETTING HARDER"

"MY DECISIONS ARE WRONG"

"MY MIND IS MESSED UP"

DON'T WASTE YOUR RESOURCES ON WEDDING CEREMONY - Pastor Kumuyi warns

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor(Dr) Williams Folorunso Kumuyi has advised intending couples to be reasonable in their spending
during the wedding ceremonies.

He said, "Many people spent money that can feed the family for a whole year on wedding reception. They fed and fed and fed the people who have enough to eat at home."

According to him, many people spent all their resources on wedding receptions, and at the end of the day, they became debtors.

He therefore counselled intending couples to be frugal and reasonable in their spending during wedding ceremonies.

"I met my husband in Enugu, he was a youth corper then in Enugu. I was also posted to Enugu. So a friend of mine visited me and she came along with her boyfriend who also came along with my husband. That was how we met and it was love at first sight. I think people frown at love at first sight but it worked for us.
I fell in love with his broad shoulders. Then he was really looking very cute. I can still remember what he was wearing that day – a red shirt, long sleeves and jeans trousers. That was 37 years ago. He couldn’t even take me out because he didn’t have money as a youth corper. It was quite magnetic and that was it.
There is a 3-year age difference between us. I am older than him anyway. I was like 25 then while he was 22. It was love that really endured. I had graduated and in my place (Owerri) when a girl graduates from the University suitors come from left, right and centre. And your parents would expect you to go for a made man with everything, but I have always known that there was no way I could have married a self-made man. I will better build a home from the scratch with you because I want to have a say in my home"

Few Years Ago,
Our pastor then in Assemblies of God Church I worshiped as a Teenager mounted pulpit.

Brethrend I am here to announce the suspension of Bro A and Sister B.

Everyone was in shock because over the week, brother A and Sister B have just received their New bouncing baby after church wedding few months ago.

What Transpired?

After their Traditional Marriage, the Church kept shifting their wedding date for one reason or the other.

Sister B got pregnant in the process.
In other to avoid scandal and the church cancelling their wedding.

She had to figure out a means of escape.

Few days to the wedding, the church took her as usual practice for a Pregnancy test.

Then Urine was used, but before Sister B left the House, she already told her small sister at home to urinate inside a bottle for her, she hid the urine with her, getting to the hospital, she was given a bottle to go inside the toilet and get her urine.

All she did was just transfer the Urine inside the new container given to her by the hospital.

Test was done
Offcourse it was negative.
Wedding done.

7 months later, she gave birth, not a pre mature.

The Pastor was angry, the church board was angry
All the Holy People in church were very angry.

How could they have given the Children's meal to the Dogs?

How could they have wedded two chronic Sinners?

How could they have allowed their names to enter inside the Church Marriage Register? "The Book of Life"

*Please Be Careful, Ignorance Is Not An Excuse*

Empty bottles of water and cans used by patients in hospitals are being packed by the cleaners while they clean the environment.
In the course of discarding the empty bottles of water and cans from a discharged patient, an attendant discovered that one of the kegs had saliva inside, meaning the patient was salivating into one of the bottles.This patient had tuberculosis(TB).
This also is applicable to other hospitals around the globe. Some patients even urinate inside the containers.These patients may have HIV, Hepatitis and other infections diseases.

Now my worry is, the women who pack these empty bottles of water and cans do sell them to people who make Zobo, Tiger nut drinks, Kunu etc. Victims buy and consume it unaware of the sources of the containers.
A consumer buys #50 or probably #100 worth of drink with his or her own money and end up having a life threatening disease or even an ailments that could take his or her life if not well treated out of carelessness.
The cycle keeps going. Let's be guided.
Even bottled groundnut is not exempted.
Please let's be very careful with these kind of things. You mean a lot to me and I wouldn't like you to fall a victim.

Stop for a minute and contemplate all the great things the Lord has done in your life. Now, think about all the great things he has done throughout time. When we consider his greatness, we should be filled with a reverential fear because he is the great I Am. There is no one else like him. Knowing his greatness, we should not hesitate to serve him with all our heart. God bless you.

As believers, we have eternal hope. When we got through difficulties or face enemies, we must always remember that we have victory in Jesus. Christ's love for us is the only thing we truly need. No matter what we face, we will never be separated from his love. The trials of the world, sin, and death are no match for Jesus. Therefore, if we place our hope in Jesus, then we are conquerors over these things as well.

As Christians, we have been called to touch the lives of everyone around us. Think of salt. What does it do? It adds flavor and value to the food in which it's placed. We have been placed in this world to make an impact for God, not to be ineffective like salt that loses its tastiness. Make sure that in every situation you are placed, you are adding value that will glorify God's name.

" The glorious truth of the matter is that we already have plenty of examples within the Bible from which to extrapolate and help guide us. The short answer is to live in love and harmony with ones fellow man, to the extent that hurting any would be an anathema. Christ, though the Son of God, humbled himself washing the feet of those society deemed unworthy. Could you, yourself, love other so?

Christ contains the many within him. He has taken in our sins, our transgressions, our fears and anxieties, and he has reconciled them. The blood of his was spilled for us. In this era where so often selfishness is celebrated or seen as a way to get ahead of ones competitors, we would do well to remember Christ's sacrifice, of taking on the burdens of others and not simply caring about advancing oneself.
