WoT's New!? Opening 250 Large Boxes Holiday Ops 2024 & Other Ramblings (Golden Waffenträger E100)

Opening 250 Large Boxes for Holiday Ops 2024 in World of Tanks PC. Holiday Ops is here and with it brings the yearly large boxes with some set rewards and other random rewards within each box. This year brings us two new tier 9 tanks (Tiger-Maus and Object 752) along with two new tier 8 tanks (Type 63 and XM66F) and one existing tank in the GSOR 1010 FB. Low/Mid Tier tanks also grace us in these boxes in the form of the Vickers 6 ton, A7E3, IT-3, M24 Chaffee No. 594, and ARMT.

Holiday Ops 2024: All NEW Tanks in Large Boxes | Gameplay & Mini-Reviews

All New Holiday Ops 2024 Tanks in Large Boxes are coming soon! Check out this first-look of the Pz.Kpfw Tiger-Maus 120t, Object 752, Type 63, XM66F, ARMT, M42 Chaffee No. 594, IT-3, and Vickers 6 Ton. ***Missing from video is the tier 3 British light tanks A7E3, at the time of this video no prior notification of this tank being in the boxes was given so it wasn't available to play or review, see below for link to stats.

These new tanks will be in the World of Tanks PC Holiday Ops Large Boxes for Holiday Ops 2024. The "showcase" tanks are the Tiger-Maus which is a great performing tier 9 super heavy tank and the Type 63 which is a Japanese Heavy Tank with a new gun cooling mechanic which boosts accuracy.

A Cooking Video?!?! Preparing a Recipe Submitted by WoT Community

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This video I prepared for Wargaming for their Thanksgiving livestream that aired yesterday with Tragic and Domo tasting recipes sent in from the World of Tanks Community.

They asked Community Contributors to participate and I couldn't pass this opportunity up even with a newborn baby now here and lack of sleep! Here's the full version of the video + audio of me preparing "Harvest Delight" that a WoT community viewer submitted.

Harvest Delight Recipe (my tweaks in parenthesis)
4 Apples
4 Pears
2 Plums
1/4 Cup Honey
3 TBSP Butter
1 TSP Cinnamon
1/2 TSP Nutmeg
1/4 TSP Clove

Spiced Cream
1 Cup Heavy Cream
1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 TSP Cinnamon
1/4 TSP Nutmeg
1/4 TSP Vanilla Extract (+ another 1/4 TSP)
1/6-1/8 TSP Cream of Tartar

1- Chop all fruits to desired size.

2- Toss in bowl with melted butter, honey, and spices

3- Place in preheated oven at 375 degrees (I suggest doing 400) for 20-25 minutes

4- Remove when apples/pears are tender and slightly browned

5- For the spiced cream. Place heavy cream, cream of tartar, spices, and vanilla extract in a chilled mixing bowl. Whip until it is fluffed up to "soft peaks". Scrape sides and turn on medium speed, add powdered sugar, and whip on high until desired level of whipped.

6- Enjoy!

Holiday Ops 2024 Tanks | Most Likely Tanks For Boxes - Well Deserved Reward & Holiday Ops Event

Here's are the most likely tanks for Holiday Ops 2024 for World of Tanks PC. Each year new premium tanks and reward tanks come out around Thanksgiving for the World of Tanks Well Deserved Reward and during Holiday Ops starting in December for paid Holiday Ops Boxes and for the event itself. For the upcoming 2023/2024 Holiday Ops event I go over each the most likely tanks that we will see offered during Holiday Ops 2024.

For Holiday Ops 2024 Tanks I think we will see a new tier 9 premium tank showcase the event in the form of the German Super Heavy Pz.Kpfw. Tiger-Maus 120t along with a collection of other new premium and reward tanks.

The 50TP Resilient is a copy of the existing 50TP Prototype and is a separate tank with a baked in Ukrainian themed style on it. XM66F | Tier 8 American Premium Tank Destroyer | World of Tanks

The XM66F is a tier 8 American premium tank destroyer currently slated to be released sometime in the near future. This petite tank destroyer packs a lot of armor protection on its round turret and has good gun depression. The XM66F continues the trend of American tanks with flexible stats and being able to perform on uneven terrain.

LTS-85 | Tier 8 Russian Premium LT | World of Tanks

The LTS-85 is a tier 8 premium light tank for Russia in World of Tanks PC. Currently unreleased the LTS-85 was designed to be an amphibious tank capable of traversing water. Will it transfer over to WoT? Possibly, but unlikely. The premium LTS-85 features a hard hitting gun for a light tank but pays for it with low damage per minute and accuracy.

M48A2 | Tier 9 American Reward Medium Tank | World of Tanks

The M48A2 tier 9 reward medium tank is single-shot tank with moderate armor, mobility, and firepower. Currently unreleased, the M48A2 is labeled as a reward tank, not a premium tank as of the WoT PC 1.22.1 update. The M48A2 may receive changes prior to release as currently its stats are some of the worst for a tier 9 medium tank. My best guess is it is Holiday Ops 2024's reward tank similar to the Object 283 which is currently being reoffered during the Waffentrager event going on currently.

Waffentrager: Projekt Hyperion | TIII Jager Gameplay + Are Engineer Gates Worth it?

Its time for another Waffentrager event in World of Tanks PC and this year the event is called Projekt Hyperion. With it comes the annual engineer gates that are lootboxes under a fancy name. In 2023 you can obtain 12 different premium/reward tanks from the boxes, special 2d styles, rental battles for the Waffentrager E100, and other goodies.

In this video I do a quick breakdown of each of the tanks and some gameplay of the new tier 9 premium German tank destroyer the KJPZ TIII Jager that is featured in the boxes. Otherwise you can expect to potentially get the Jagdtiger Prototype, Object 283, T54 Heavy Tank, CS-52 LIS, ShPTK-TVP 100, M-IV-Y, Object 274a(missing from the video, sorry!), Strv 81, ISU-152K, FV1006 Senlac, and the K-2.

Kpz. Pr.68 (P) - Tier 8 German Premium Medium Tank | WoT PC

The Kpz. Pr.68 (P) is a tier 8 German premium medium tank due for release after the 1.22 World of Tanks PC update. The Pr.68 (P) is a highly mobile medium tank featuring a hydropneumatic suspension, a large 120mm gun, and very light armor protection. The Kpz. Pr.68 was a predecessor of the Leopard tanks and the Pr.68 is due to release as a tier 8 medium tank in World of Tanks PC.

provided additional information regarding this tank in a previous video that gives some insight on the in-game model in World of Tanks.
The Pr. 68 is not a planned tank. It actually is still in production and forms the backbone of a lot of EU-armies today. Thats because Pr. 68 is a blend of several tanks from "Projekt Keiler" AKA the Leopard 2. The engine-deck is taken from the earliest prototypes (PT-1 to 4) while the hull itself resembles the mock-up hulls fo later models (specifically PT-10). The hydropneumatic suspension (and thus the drivetrain) comes from PT-11 (only the hull was built and no turret was fitted).
The only thing that bugs me about this tank is the turret. All "Keiler" PTs (that had a turret) were fitted with a new welded turret, which became the basis for the turret of the Leopard 1A3 (AKA the Lion in game), so the Porsche-Type B turret from the Leo 1 prototypes doesn't fit the esthetic of the tank. Also: there is no way in hell you can fit a 120mm HV gun into that small turret, it was already cramped on the Leo 1 PTs, with the 105...

In the first 2 pics you can also see the turret the Pr. 68 SHOULD have, which, is again, kind of a Leo 1A3 turret, not the abomination that the cast Prototype B turret was, I mean there was a reason the design was thrown out.

Type 63 - Tier 8 Premium Japanese Heavy Tank | World of Tanks PC

The Type 63 is a tier 8 Japanese premium Heavy Tank that is due for release later in 2023 in World of Tanks PC. The Type 63 features a new gun mechanic with a "gun cooling feature" which improves accuracy for firing slower than the standard reload. Featuring great gun depression using the hydropneumatic suspension, the Type 63 has great armor protection when hull down.

MBT-B | T10 American Heavy Tank | Upcoming Reward HT "U.S. Chieftain"

The MBT-B is an upcoming tier 10 American heavy tank that is currently labeled as a reward tank as of the 1.22 World of Tanks PC update. The MBT-B already has been coined the American Chieftain given its similar attributes to the T95/FV4201 already released. Featuring a versatile heavy tank role with moderate armor, a well-rounded gun, and good mobility the MBT-B stands out with great view range(and a backup camera), and a solid gun. Unlike the T95/FV4201 the MBT-B does have several weak spots even damageable while hull-down.

TITT Rozanov - Tier 8 Russian Premium Medium Tank

The TITT Rozanov tier 8 premium Russian medium tank is an upcoming tank that featured "battle rollers" and is unreleased on World of Tanks PC as of the 1.22 update. The TITT Rozanov is a peculiar medium tank that features well protected angled armor, a low damage/high DPM gun, and below average mobility for a medium tank. The TITT has no planned released date that we know of.

LKpz.70 K | T10 German Tank Destroyer | Upcoming Reward LT

The LKpz.70 K is an upcoming tier 10 German light tank currently labeled as a reward vehicle in World of Tanks PC as of the 1.22 update. The LKpz. 70 K has an insane amount of gun depression at 17 degrees and comes equipped with a hydropneumatic suspension system. This tier 10 light tank is due to either be released as an assembly shop tank, new clan war reward tank, or other sale/reward for an event. The LPpz.70 K his built around great mobility, gun depression, and accurate firepower.

KJPZ TIII Jäger | Tier 9 German Premium Tank Destroyer | Upcoming TD

The KJPZ TIII Jäger is an upcoming tier 9 premium German tank destroyer due for release in an upcoming event/update in World of Tanks PC. Introduced in the 1.22 WoT PC update in the game files the KJPZ TIII Jäger is a light tank destroyer with a partially rotating turret, very light armor, and an insanely accurate gun that closely resembles the Leopard PTA gun with better accuracy. The KJPZ TIII Jäger is currently labeled as a tier 9 premium tank destroyer as of the 1.22 update.

The Lätt Stridsfordon 120 is an upcoming tier 9 Swedish tank destroyer currently listed as a reward tank as of the 1.22 World of Tanks PC update. The Lätt Stridsfordon 120 plays like an up tiered UDES 03 with light armor, great mobility, and a siege mode design like other high tier Swedish tank destroyers. While the armor lacks, the gun hits decently and has good damage per minute along with great camouflage. The Lätt Stridsfordon 120 is slated to be released as a reward tank unless its status is changed to a premium tank before release.

TS-60 - Upcoming T9 American Tank Destroyer

The TS-60 is an upcoming tier 9 American tank destroyer currently listed as a reward tank in the 1.22 update for World of Tanks PC. The TS-60 is a unique, rear-turreted tank destroyer with a low 400 damage gun, moderate armor, moderate mobility, and high damage per minute. The TS-60 is unreleased as of August 2023 and is slated to be a tier 9 reward tank or if changed prior to release a premium tank.
