Behind the Scene

"No one here is taking notice, no outline will ever hold us It's not a new wave, it's just you and me" --Sleater Kinney

Making music is more personal than ever, so why shouldn’t music blogging follow suit? Since launching in 2016, our goal at The All Scene Eye has been to bring you in-depth conversations and earnest art appreciation, because we all want to feel scene; not just to be noticed, but to be connected across geography and genre.

Our flagship podcast, The All Scene Eye, features interviews with artists and enthusiasts about their musical lives. In our comedy podcast, Build-A-Band, co-hosts Christine Naulty and Taylor Ruckle (that's me!) take on the personas of music industry execs and try to make each other laugh with nonsensical band pitches. It all stems from a deep, unironic love for music and the people who make it.

We're currently based out of Northern Virginia, but we've featured artists from across the globe, and if you're reading this, you could be next! If you’re interested in a conversation, a review, or in premiering your work here, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
