Life has REALLY sucked lately.... Here's a sleepy baby with cute, exposed toe beans.

We were relaxing and she wouldn't go to sleep without my hand lolz.

Here is the official obituary for Bonk and I's Mother. We spent A LOT of time on it so hopefully she would be proud . . .

Natasha Marie Brown, also known as Tasha to most, unexpectedly left our beautiful planet at age 48 on June 23rd, 2023. Tasha was a long-term resident of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan up until around Mid-May of this year, where she was medically transferred to Medilodge in Clare. It was there she was declared officially passed at 7:05 A.M. on a Friday due to Respiratory Failure.
Tasha was born on January 26th, 1975 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to two loving and thoughtful parents by the names of Douglas and Peggy Jordan (Mindel). In childhood, she lived most of her life in Grand Rapids up until the birth of her eldest daughter, in which she chose to relocate to Mt. Pleasant for better opportunities. One of which was graduating from Mt. Pleasant Public Schools with a High School Diploma. Another was holding multiple management positions across multiple odd jobs, though she held a specific preference for the food service industry. She was also unfortunately married to Dartone Brown in 1999, who she then happily divorced in 2006, with two beautiful children.
Speaking of food service, one of her favorite hobbies included cooking or anything food related. This included things like; watching Food Network and their various shows for new recipe ideas, cooking and baking for her family, and passing her vast cooking knowledge to her daughters. Which is why some of her favorite holidays included Thanksgiving and Christmas, solely because SHE got to be the one to cook the Family Dinner until she became bed-bound. An additional enjoyable pastime for her was also playing video games, specifically the Diablo series created by Activision-Blizzard. Mostly due to the dark themes and relatability to the characters’ stories. Above all else though, she most loved to go to grocery stores or other businesses that had disability assistance devices, like electronic wheelchairs. That way, she could clear her head and people watch while being able to get out of the house.
With the support of her helpful mother, Peggy, she joined her local band program in Junior High and Drum and Bugle Corps in her Freshman year of High School. For a total of three years, she had the privilege of traveling all over the United States, expanding her infinite list of talents. The group she was in became so accomplished in their craft, they were invited to the finals in Buffalo, New York. Sadly, they didn’t win but she had fun nonetheless and made a lot of new friends.
Tasha will be sadly missed and forever remembered by; her two daughters, Brianna (B-Rye) Brown aged, 26, and Bianca (Bonk) Brown aged, 22. As well as her soon-to-be Son-In-Law, Tyler Courter, along with his four children. She will be severely missed by her mother, Peggy Mindel, aged, 69 and Uncle, Doug Mindel, aged 65; all currently residing in Mt. Pleasant. Lastly, her two, closest best friends from her childhood, Amber Parnell and Stephine Whitten, who she attempted to remain in contact with the best she could.
She is predeceased by her father, Douglas Jordan Jr., aged 40. As well as paternal grandparents, Charile and Estelle Robinson, ages unknown. And her maternal grandparents, Dale and Betty Mindel, aged 73 and 82 along with their oldest son, Dan Mindel, aged 34.
The family has already held a private viewing of the body on Sunday, June 25th, 2023 as well as already moving forward with cremation. Business arrangements are being professionally handled by the Berry Family Funeral Home in Shepard, Michigan. Personal arrangements will be left to the family’s discretion, such as place of interment. There will be a invite-only Celebration of Life held on Monday, August 28th, 2023; beginning time is TBD. If there are still any lingering questions or if you’d like to send your condolences to the family, you can contact either of her daughters at 989-621-0459 which is B-Rye’s number, or 989-317-7300, which is Bonk’s number.
If there is anything that Tasha would want everyone to remember, it’s that; “You Got This.”
