in these days, we have been facing an era of internet and midi so people can individually produce music by themselves and can easily publish tracks. At this point, through youtube, bandcamp, mydspace and soundcloud, there are many ways to publicize their products. Mocit magazine is to create the channels and provide opportunities to independent artists who don’t belong to labels to publ
icize their products and public can easily get to know fresh and ingenious music, not produced by big labels. This is mocit’s ultimate objective and it will not only be profitable to mocit, but also it will bring positive effects for people from all around the world
Not like other media, only providing information of artists and track lists, mocit will offer details on each tracks and about artists, behind story on producing music and where artists get motivated so that people can sympathize with individual tracks. Mocit의 목표
현재 Midi, 인터넷 시대가 옴으로써 1인 프로듀싱 체제가 가능해졌고 그에 따라 당장 트랙으로 발표해도 모자라지 않을 만큼의 트랙들이 수많은 독립 아티스트들에 의해 제작되어 지고 있다. 이에 따라 Youtube, Bandcamp, Myspace나 Soundcloud와 같이 자신들의 작품을 홍보할 수 있는 다양한 방법들이 만들어지고 있다. 하지만 이는 자신들의 작품을 대중들과 교감할 수 있게 해주는 역할은 상당히 약하다. Mocit Magazine은 이에 따라 레이블에 속해 있지 않은 독립 아티스트들에게는 대중들에게 자신들의 작품을 알릴 수 있는 체널을 만들고, 대중들은 대형 레이블과 기획사에 의해 만들어지는 트랙들이 아닌, 신선한 음악, 창의적인 음악을 접할 기회를 늘린다. 이것이 Mocit의 궁극적인 목표이며, 이는 Mocit의 발전만이 아닌, 전 세계의 음악을 사랑하는 모든 사람들에게 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 것이라고 믿고 있다. Mocit Magazine은 다른 매체 와는 다르게 단순히 아티스트의 정보와 트랙리스트들을 제공하는 것을 넘어서서, 아티스트 한명 한명에 대한 심도 있는 정보들, 즉 트랙 제작에 있어서 영감을 얻는 곳, 트랙 제작의 뒷배경 이야기 등 과 같은 아티스트와 곡 하나 하나를 깊게 이해할 수 있게 함으로써, 트랙들을 대중들과 공감할 수 있게 하는 것에 초점을 맞추고 있다.
