2 bo***ir photoshoots, 10 years apart.

I personally think it's pointless to lie about your age on the internet, but that doesn't mean I am completely and utterly confident about getting older in general. My body hurts if I sleep with the wrong pillow! I have to put a bolster under my knees in yoga class now! Dairy gives me weird burps, and the list goes on!

But recently I got the chance to do a bo***ir photoshoot with the incredible and it got me thinking back to the first time I modeled for a bo***ir photographer. It was for and it was 2014. I was 24ish and very nervous, and I remember feeling like a fraud the entire time. That said, made me look like a seggsy angel, god bless her

Cut to last May, when I entered the rain room in DTLA. This time, I felt nothing but excitement and knew exactly what I wanted. And now I have these pictures that prove that getting older is scary, yes - but the surge in self confidence rocks.

Okay y'all know I am a big fan of getting freaking on main, but recently I've been feeling really disconnected from this side of myself. 2023 has been a hell of a year for so many folks - especially in my industry - and I just haven't been inspired to dress up, pole dance, or do so many of the other things that make me feel like a baddie.

But this summer, my bestie and I scored an afternoon with this dynamic photographer, , who specializes in making people feel alive on camera. While traditional bo***ir is her bread and butter, we decided we wanted a challenge, so we opted for a RAIN ROOM and LIGHT TUNNEL. Mckenna was super down for the challenge and thus these photos were born.

I am so excited to share these pics with y'all because a) I want to give Mckenna her flowers. She is a fantastic, empathetic, and incredibly intelligent woman who is so freaking talented and she deserves a little spotlight. Also b) I hope these pics remind yall that even when you're feeling a little bit dim or dead inside, your inner underwear model lives on and thrives inside. Sometimes she just needs a little help to come out.

These days, we are waking up at sunrise because of the puppy. But if I may , ~2 months ago, Patrick and I got to sleep under the stars and woke up with the sun on a wilderness reserve in South Africa. We found out later that there was a leopard roaming the property that night, but THATS ANOTHER STORY. For now, I’m enjoying this lookback at our bed head. 🥲🐶✨

Little life update!✨

Internet, meet Disco, the newest addition to our family. About a month ago, Patrick and I found Disco on , and our heart mellllted. 🫠

The folks over at were so understanding and respectful of our process, and allowed us to take a couple weeks to foster this sweet pup while we readjusted our lives. Fun fact, owning a is a MASSIVE undertaking - one that I was semi prepared for - but Aleks at made herself so available for all of our questions and concerns! 🙏🏻

Disco is a smart cookie (like her Daddy) with a flair for the dramatics (like her Mama). She keeps Mars and I on our toes, and she has already taught me more about my capacity for patience and empathy than ever. I adore her, and I think you will too. Devin But Better fans, get ready for a return to with her story soon! 🪩💕

It’s not everyday that you score an invite to a 100th birthday party, but Oma is just not any woman!

Born in the Netherlands in 1923, Oma has seen growth, wars, change, joy, and everything in between. She fought N***s, moved to a brand new country, learned a new language, raised children and grandchildren, started businesses, kept a farm, and became the best neighborhood Oma a community could ask for.

I am so lucky to be marrying into the family she built, and I had a blast celebrating her big, 1920’s themed day. Happy birthday Oma! We love you! ❤️

Ok, I officially apologize - this page will be a wildlife and Southern Africa travel page for a good while. It’s not lost on me that I am privileged enough to travel and I want to spend some time highlighting some of the incredible work that is happening in conservation in this part of the world. is a great example of this kind of mission.

Last Sunday, we woke up at 5am to get to the Kapama game reserve in Hoedsprite, SA by 6:30. There we met Tiger, a man who has dedicated his life’s work to caretaking the rescued Jubalani herd. Elephants are animals that follow water, so when human development and industry encroaches on their watering holes, some African countries cull the population in their region. Sanctuaries like the one at Kapama provide support and land for families to thrive in peace.

Holding the gaze of an elephant is a soulful experience that I wish I could do everyday for the rest of my life, as crazy as that sounds. Ultimately, these animals deserve to be wild and free and protected, and I am so grateful for the people in our world who are making sure that happens in my lifetime.
