đDonât get brainwashed into believing that you will lack protein. If youâre eating a variety of whole plant foods supplemented with juices and smoothies itâs very hard to lack in the amino acids the body needs to thrive. Iâm a 10 year vegan and have never supplemented protein even while pregnant. It should be the least of your worries in regards to supplements.
đ Eat a variety of plant foods! This is crucial! You need to be eating a large diversity of foods so that you're able to get the widest spectrum of nutrients. I find that people tend to think salads mean romaine or mixed greens only. đThis means every time you make a juice or a smoothie switch up the leafy greens. When youâre making a salad challenge yourself to use as much different types of vegetables than you did the day before. The leafy greens are the most important foods to rotate because they contain the most nutrients.
