Over the course of several albums, Makgarebe a Bochabela has consistently delivered the goods to her fans - both vocally and with the songs, the majority of which she pens herself. Its been an amazing journey for the artist: aged just 14, she became a member of the ZCC and Makgarebe a Bochabele's singing gifts soon saw her take the role of lead vocalists in the Dobsonville, Mdeni, Magaliesburg and

Moroka congregations. In 2003 she met talented producer Solly Moholo who rapidly recognised her vocal gift and the result was Makgarebe a Bochabela's debut album 'Re Hweditse Masione A Rapela' which eventually sold platinum (50 000 units at the time). From then on working with Moholo and Faxa Dube, it was only a matter of time before Makgarebe became one of the country's best Gospel artist, her music reaching other Southern African countries like Botswana, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Zambia. after the legend passed away after releasing ONTATE (2013) the group decided to put Salome Pilane as their lead vocalist till today.
