OMD UK Celebrates LGBTQ+ History Month
OMD UK is proud to support our LGBTQ+ employees and their allies in celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month this February. The theme this year is #BehindTheLens, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community’s contribution to cinema and film behind the camera: directors, cinematographers, screen writers, producers, animators, costume designers, special effects, make-up artists, lighting directors, musicians, choreographers and beyond.
At a time when LGBTQ+ lives are increasingly in the media we encourage you to look ‘Behind the Lens’ and listen to LGBTQ+ peoples’ lived experiences. LGBTQ+ History Month is a critical period for reflection: it invites us to claim our past, celebrate the present and, learning from those lived experiences, create our future.
We hope you get a chance to reflect – and to enjoy and celebrate the work of those LGBTQ+ heroes behind the lens.
