First part of show done with jingles and everything

Small studios come with a few problems - sound-wise.
I had big issues between 60-300hz, even though the room is treated (and isolated) to the max possible regarding the size and shape. But you can’t trick physics completely. I wasn’t really happy with the sound, neither with how my midfield speakers sounded in that room.
The other day I was talking to Hanno Sonder about this issue, and he recommended trying out their C4 speaker. It’s an ultra near field monitor, so it stimulates fewer room resonances in comparison to a midfield, or even bigger monitor. And it is pretty analytic, even in the low end. I am testing these with their C-Bass sub atm, which is slightly more fun, and gives a bit more headroom and brilliance for the C4.
Will be doing a few mix-downs this week, but I might have found my new set up. 💪🚀🙏❤️

Always remember, every room is different, but if you’re working in a small room, you should consider smaller (ultra near field) speakers. They might do a better job.
