New set now online on my SoundCloud — link in comments. Recorded live at ZODIAK Extended, BUDA BXL. A 3-hour set, starting with deep Techno and building into more intense territory to set the tone for Sol Ortega. Been a while since I’ve been at a club event in Belgium with 4 stages, two proper Techno rooms, and sets that ran deep into the morning. Highlights for me were Obscure Shape, Bloody Mary, Arthur Robert & Ketch, while Herton & Max. once again proved why they’re local favorites.

Hey Instagram 👽,
I’ve been a bit quiet on here. Life has turned up the tempo lately with a new role at work and some other priorities taking the lead. My passion never stopped, but I’ve just had less headspace to share updates and work on music as much as I’d like.

Still spending time in the studio, even if I’ve been better at starting than finishing something lately. Recently, I’m feeling ready again to get back on track 🤟.

Just wanted to put some words into the ether so you know big things are not yet coming 😋. But working on it!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of warming up the main room at Zodiak x Buda BXL. A finger-licking lineup like this doesn’t come around often in Belgium with four rooms of quality music 🥵. Really enjoyed setting the tone for this event with some deeper tunes.

Honest post: During my set at Charged, I felt off. Some things didn’t go as I wanted to, which made it hard for me to get into the zone. I tend to play loads of freshly found tracks, especially for a radio show. I forgot the final step in my export process 🥹. That left me lost in a messy folder of tracks with different moods all mixed together without my usual structure.

I felt rushed after noticing this, and it made me play a mix I’m less proud of. I felt less confident than usual. What did make it special though, were my friends in the back, who know how to make up for this 😁. Thanks for the vibe, guys! Lessons learned here, and on to the next one.

Next month my brainchild Wir Tanzen will be hosted at Kompass. We’re excited to bring Vault Sessions resident Phil Berg and local connaisseur Gaāl for a night of pure Techno.

For my Berlin friends: next week I’ll be playing at the iconic Kit Kat Club Berlin club for Unity alongside Kompass Traxx & MANON.

I’ve recently organized and trimmed down my record collection, keeping only the absolute gems in terms of musical creativity and sound quality - at least, in my humble opinion. Feeling fully prepared to layer the beats and take your mind on a journey. In the studio, I’ve been experimenting with my sound, and I can’t wait to share with you what I’ve been working on.
