His sets can be described as energetic Techno with spacey elements which bring constant tension to the dance floor. As a former resident of one of Belgium's longest-running clubs, Decadance, he developed his mixing skills through long marathon sets. Kompass Klub last month. I hadn’t been that nervous for a gig in a while. I’d been digging so much new music in the weeks before that my own library felt a bit daunting. It’s crazy how much good stuff is coming out lately. Still getting familiar with all those records and feeling super energized for my next gig this weekend.

When events grow they often go for bigger and bolder. Basilar just focuses on 1 stage only, something which I really liked since you don’t need to search for your friends lol. But more importantly, DJs get the chance to experiment since people are tied to that one stage + that in combination with 3-4 hour slots was definitely refreshing!⁣
