The Stoop Life Social Artist as Storytellers We grew up in a time and place where kids actually played outside, and people spent a great amount of time on the Stoop.

It was a place where families came together and communities congregated with one another. On the Stoop, everything from child's play to politics were discussed, debated and sometimes fought over. It was a place of warmth, were everyone who made it up those steps were family. The Stoop was the eyes of the community, where we learned the traditional art of storytelling from the gatekeepers of histor

y I.E., our grandmothers. They were always honest, raw and real while constantly maintaining a level of unconditional love. In keeping with that tradition, we bring to you The Stoop Life, where our art whether through photography, paintings, blogging and more represents and brings light to the social conditions of the people.
