I will never understand DFW's obsession with how the music is delivered on DJ nights. Countless ads for nights that say "VINYL ONLY", but don't tell you anything else about what they play. Is it like this in other cities?

Vinyl, CD, computer, whatever. Just play good music.

Delilah and I need your help.

What bands are out there in that fit the Movement Music Club mold? Think Britpop, 80s/90s/00s Indie, and Shoegaze. Might be fun to do some collaborations.

And bands, before you start spamming me, I DO NOT have any connections to venues or bookers. I’m just trying to get a feel for what is out there.

Mrs. Movement and I are off to LA to see Pulp this week. It’ll be her first time and my second (NYC 2012). If the set is anything like the ones they played so far, it should be a hell of a night. Looking forward to attending Club Underground Los Angeles on Friday as well.
