Sad news, well known local dj from our youth, Pete Smith has sadly passed away, anyone that went to Oakengates town hall would have danced to his tunes, his wife Sharon, daughters Kerry and Hayley and son Keiron wish it to be known that his funeral will be at Telford crematorium on 15th of March @ 9.30am, rip Pete, thanks for the tunes, god bless you.

Unfortunately, the current uprising of uncertainty has forced us to make the difficult decision to postpone this Friday’s “50 YEARS of SOUL” LIVE! event at the Unison Club, Shrewsbury. We apologies for the lateness of our decision and for any inconvenience that it may cause but please be assured that it is not a decision that has been made lightly.
Don’t worry as it has been our intention to run the “50 YEARS of SOUL” LIVE! events at the Unison Club, on a regular basis throughout 2022. In fact, approximately every other month, the next event being on 4th March 2022. Also, for those who regularly follow us on ‘Facebook’ and watch our weekly show, we will be back live this Friday at 8.00pm so please join us at https://www.facebook.com/OriginalSolidGold.
Anyone who has purchased tickets for this Friday’s event will be entitled to a full refund or can use them for the March event. All ticket holders will be contacted individually via email with details regarding their options.
Finally, our larger “LOVE of SOUL” event at STFC, is on 12th February 2022 and we hope to see many of you there.

Heaths Reunion - Sun 21st November
morning everyone ... on behalf of organising team just a quick update on ticket situation. Unfortunately there has been a slight hiccup as our previous supplier appears to have closed its business (another casualty of Pandemic ? )and we've had to start from scratch with another Printer however the good news is they are now ready and will be collected towards the end of the week by Maurice.
Tickets will then be available to purchase from V&A Jewellers in Wellington , The Wedding Boutique Shop in Shrewsbury and from MJL Engineering in Trench as well as any of the organising team.
Please remember as in previous years this will be a ticket only event with limited numbers and all proceeds to Charity .... there with be no pay on door entry on night ... sorry
Please try and get your tickets asap once available as when they're gone they're gone
its going to be another great night and no doubt like everyone else ..... cant wait to meet up with old (and new) friends again from this smashing page
