The SAEDINTRA FOUNDATION IS grateful for all of the people we’ve helped to date!

We have so much more work to do! I am excited! I am invigorated! I am motivated to do more in our efforts to counsel victims of violence! Provide jobs for counselors, customer service reps and social workers. IMAGINE - a global helpline servicing victims of violence in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Creole, Russian, African and Asian dialects.

We currently use to provide counseling to global constituents in English. It’s now time to truly effect change.

I think about the collaborations we will create with initiatives using music, art, film, audit and ingenuity to raise awareness to issues such as trafficking, visa racketeering, domestic violence and other heinous crimes.

I think about how we will be able to directly impact the trafficking statistics in Florida, our home base and the world!

I cannot do this alone! So I thank each and everyone that has given to date and I thank everyone who will give today and over the upcoming weeks as we launch this campaign.

Saving lives one song, one artist, one person at a time.

How about a Moment!!!

As I sip my morning cup of coffee …
I started a new habit… I’m being more intentional about going through my DMs instead of assuming they are mostly spam.

I received a few messages with no greeting, salutation…. Just - here’s what I need from you! Here’s what I can do for you! 🙄

Suggestion:
When cold calling or reaching out to someone you DO NOT know, try saying hello! Try a short introduction!

I would not be inclined to give my clients or my business to someone I’ve never met who doesn’t take the time to at lease say hello or make an introduction.

No need for a long message but common courtesy will get my attention not your years in business, number of degrees or awards!

In the music industry, signing up with a PRO does not protect your work from being used by others. That’s right! Someone else can use your work (music) without your permission or knowledge if it’s not administered and “protected” correctly.

A due diligence audit or an operational audit can assist you in reducing expenses, increasing revenue and minimizing your exposure related to getting paid… or NOT getting paid!

Music audits can include a review of your music contracts. That can include your contract terms. How much you are supposed to get paid? When are you supposed to receive your statements of account or works? How often are you supposed to get paid? Who owns your music?

Contract reviews should then be used to assess contractual compliance.

Compliance??????
Essentially this means what was supposed to happen versus what really happened.

The U.S. Mint unveiled the design for Cruz as well as four other notable American women who were selected as the 2024 honorees for the American Women Quarters Program.

Although salsa was a genre dominated by male artists, the Cuban American singer and musician became a celebrated star and helped increase the popularity of salsa and Latin music in general. Cruz died at the age of 77 on July 16, 2003, at her home in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Cruz, who gained worldwide acclaim, recorded over 80 albums — and 23 of them went gold. She was a three-time Grammy winner and four-time Latin Grammy recipient.

In 1994, President Bill Clinton awarded Cruz the President’s National Medal of Arts and she received a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 Grammys.
