When did it become the trend to treat composers, songwriters, musicians, engineers, et al with such disdain and disrespect? First it was the Academy Museum, now it's the Oscars themselves. Songwriters have been dealing with this treatment for a while now, but the spread of this crappy treatment to all those involved with the creation of musical works really needs to stop.
