‘John Frusciante was playing Jimi Hendrix's 1964 Fender Stratocaster at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Sunday!

The owner claims that the guitar played at the 2022 New Orleans Jazz Fest by Frusciante is “Linda”. Keith Richards owned this Stratocaster, then gave it to Linda Richards, who gave it to Jimi Hendrix in 1966. The guitar now belongs to a guitar collector, and it’s in the book “Guitar-EXP The Ultimate Guitar Collection”.

There is no information if John owns the guitar, or if it was loaned for the show.’

We’ve witnessed Eli and Dopapod grind for over a decade. From seeing them cover Styx during a festival in Mass years ago to Dopadosio with Papadosio at Catskill Chill. From interlocking sets with Kung Fu at a barcade in Denver to working their way into position at bigger festivals like The Peach Music Festival and Summer Camp Music Festival

They never compromised their artistry. They never took shortcuts. They’ve always been honest, dedicated, unique, and driven by the music. They’ve always made sure to have fun onstage.

The Disco Biscuits: Back at The Capitol Theatre

New TPC website coming soon 🧩

“With that being said, The Cap means a lot to me. It always has and it always will. So much history. So much soul. It represents everything I hold near and dear to my heart. It is a beacon of authenticity, creativity, and humanity in materialistic world of shallow nonsense. It encapsulates the essence and historic proportions of live music with tasteful pride. Designed by architect Thomas W. Lamb and built in 1926, it is now a full-on immersive experience that stimulates the minds of patrons through audio and visuals. The walls are latent with elegance of the past and ever-moving possibilities of the future. It’s deeper than what the senses are able to capture though. There is a mythic energy that you cannot see or hear, but with the right band, you can always feel it.”

The Disco Biscuits returned to The Capitol Theatre after an anxiety riddled period of postponed shows and uncertainty. Both the band and venue have had enormous impacts on my life and creativity as a whole. Upon entering The Cap for the first time in years, I was sucker punched with a haymaker of em

The next episode of the TPC podcast is dropping tomorrow🎙🔊

It features our good friend, Ryan Caldwell. This man has inspired me so much over the last 8 years. I have so much love and respect for him. I’ve looked to him as a power of example on countless occasions. His experience, strength, and hope is proof that transformation is possible if you put in the work.

I’ve always been attracted to individuals that have had to overcome great adversity. I believe that within them lies a set of intangible character traits that cannot be faked, taught, or bought. They are put on earth to walk a path of suffering and hardship so they can reach the fallen ones and lift them up. Ryan is one of those people. He is a man of integrity and his story is not for the faint of heart.
