Happy 12th to our Orange brethren in the staunchly loyal village of Portmagee…

‘Portmagee was called after Captain Theobald Magee who was a Captain in King James Army at the Battle of the Boyne’

Portmagee people are fiercly proud of their connection to the battle of the Boyne. Locals can often be heard swapping stories of Captain Theobalds heroic efforts on the battle field at the counter of the lively Fisherman’s bar.

The local GAA team also reflects this playing under the name Skellig Rangers, reflecting close ties with the famous soccer club from Glasgow.

Long live the Union, long live Portmagee, no surrender.

The dynamic duo will be entertaining locals and visitors alike at the famous Villa Marie public house in the quaint seaside village of Waterville. The gig taking place this Friday, is believed to be their first gig since 2019.
