For the love of design and engineering and humanity… that’s what we tapped into in this episode. Prudence Ferreira dives into the building science of passive design and creating incredibly resilient housing that can better withstand evolving climate and energy fluctuations. It’s a beautiful big picture and granular interview. We spend the first 10 mins setting the stage and then really dive in—worth the wait.

In this podcast episode I attempt to answer the most common and important questions, comments, and pushback I receive about meditation. Including some sticky topics like meditation in the context of faith based practices. My hope is to remove a few of the barriers to meditation because it is a no cost way that each of us can experience more peace and clarity. And although we do not get into it in this episode, the research on the physical and mental health benefits is robust and growing.

There are many ways to practice meditation and to answer these questions. I simply answered them from the heart and based on my personal experience. Please forgive me if I fall short.

Close your eyes. Take a slow, very deep breath in. And a slow, very deep breath out.

I sat down to meditate this morning and was flooded with instant relief, peace and a sense of wide open possibility. I must have needed it because tears started leaking out my eyes.

My practice does not always go like this, but today it did.

Ok, this was a thrill! Back in episode #351 (Mindful Money) I gave a huge shoutout to YNAB which stands for You Need A Budget. It is a fantastic budgeting tool that I have been using the past few years. I cannot recommend them enough. The owner Jesse Mecham recently interviewed me on his podcast...we had a hoot and covered some interesting territory on money and mindfulness. I think you will find some great nuggets. https://bit.ly/3mHKicv

Recently Jesse received an email from a woman who claimed YNAB was really a program about mindfulness... just using money and budgeting as the entry point. So Jesse invited this woman onto the podcast
