7 GATES OF HELL👹

The urban legend of the seven gates of hell in York County takes many different forms and variations. One version, according to Roadtrippers, is about a mental institution that used to be located in Hellam Township, Pennsylvania.

The mental asylum was isolated from the rest of the public because it housed “such insane” patients. Then one day, back in the 1800s, a fire started and consumed many of the patients. Some patients escaped but were beaten to death when found. Legend has it, the gates were put up by the local search party to trap any remaining patients of the mental asylum.

The second version of this story is about a doctor who lived on the property and the gates are nothing but a safety measure to keep trespassers out…which is most likely the more realistic reason buuuuut we are sticking to the ghost story hehe

Famous People Who Believe In Aliens // Have Alien Stories 👽

Robbie Williams
Robbie Williams took a break from his singing career and public life in 2006 to study aliens. After supposedly experiencing three UFO encounters, he began attending UFO seminars and conferences, and has connected with many fellow UFO enthusiasts. He even said a UFO visited him when he wrote the alien themed song "Arizona" claiming, "I had just finished writing a song called Arizona, which is about alien abduction, when there was this glow. It was magic."

Fran Drescher
Star of The Nanny and Happily Divorced Fran believe both she and her ex husband, Peter Marc Jacobson were abducted by aliens. Apparently years before they met, they both had similar experiences while driving with their fathers. Fran says they were abducted and had implants placed in their hands and both have the "same hand scar" to this day.

Muhammad Ali
Muhammad had a lifelong interest in UFOs, and claimed to have seen and been watched by UFOs on sixteen different occasions and even saw a "mothership." He said, "If you look up in the sky in the early morning, you see them playing tag between the stars."

KURT COBAIN — killed by illuminati?

The Nirvana frontman was found dead aged 27 after a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head nearly 25 years ago.

His passing sparked a series of murder conspiracy theories, provided by private detectives and former close friends.

One truther believes Cobain was killed by the Illuminati after exposing their supposed plans for worldwide domination.
The alleged secret society is thought to be formed of world leaders conspiring to create a tyrannical global government.
Cobain apparently left a cryptic message in the In Utero album foldout that was released ion 1994.

In the photo, Kurt gazes into the camera wearing a t-shirt with the numbers 911 – and what could be a plane floating above.

He also covers his eye with his index finger, supposedly pointing to “Illuminati symbolism”.
Other conspiracists chimed in with their own theories after watching the bizarre video posted to YouTube.

One wrote: “There is no way he put this message himself, or that he knew anything about 9/11. It was put probably as subliminal message or predictive programming.”

Another said: “It's not just this photo, it's the whole album In Utero. That album was a punch in the face of the antichrist.”
Another expert previously claimed that Cobain was killed and that it was the “perfect crime”.
Max Wallace, a Canadian journalist and historian, questioned Cobain’s cause of death after seeing the deceased star’s toxicology report.
It showed how he contained a high concentration of he**in in his body at the time he took his own life.

He said: "The forensic pathologist we spoke to said that there's no way this guy could have injected a triple lethal dose of he**in into his system, then rolled down his sleeve, put away the drug kit, picked up the shotgun and shot himself.

Haunted schools 👻

El Paso, Texas El Paso High School

This school has a reputation for all kinds of paranormal activity. Sometimes people find hallways filled with mist, unexplainable goo drips from the ceilings, and there was even the discovery of hidden classrooms beneath the building. Maybe one of those classrooms is where one unidentified girl studied because she wasn’t seen until she showed up in the graduating class of 1985's yearbook photo.

Everyone in the photo claims that the girl in white (because, as we all know, that’s just what ghosts wear) was NOT actually present when the picture was shot. Some even said they had sweaty palms during the photoshoot. To this day, no one can identify her. The ghost does not appear in the photo negative, either, and the picture was taken a couple of years before Photoshop was even developed.

The class photo resides in a trophy cases at the school (probably just in case someone recognizes her one of these days). In the meantime, there are many more unknown entities who are big fans of El Paso High: Some alumni & faculty say they’ve seen hundreds of ghosts hold pep rallies in the middle of the night there. And they say they’ve also heard basketball games in the auditorium, but when they open the doors, no one is there

TURNBULL CANYON—Woman’s body found in Turnbull Canyon

Los Angeles County Coroner’s officials recovered an unidentified woman’s body Thursday morning about 10 feet down an embankment in Turnbull Canyon, south of Skyline Drive.

The body may have been there for more than a week, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. John Corina.
“The decomposition is pretty extensive,” he said. “It appears animals removed some parts of the body.”

Officials said they are exploring the possibility that the woman was murdered. She was barefoot and wearing dark clothing.
“It doesn’t look she just stumbled and fell there,” Corina said. “It looked like she was dumped there.”

A person looking out over the canyon notified law enforcement of the woman’s remains at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.
The coroner’s office decided against trying to recover the body Wednesday night because of darkness and the rain, Corina said.

On Thursday, a team of coroners investigators scoured the area around the body looking for clues.
“They found part of a human arm,” Corina said.
He said the body’s left arm was missing.

The woman’s autopsy is expected to be completed Friday, said Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner’s office.
“She’s classified as a missing person,” he said. “She’s a Jane Doe.”

Turnbull Canyon stretches from Whittier to Hacienda Heights. According to generations of folklore, it has been the site of occult rituals, devil worship and often has been a dumping ground for bodies.

But those who live and work in the canyon dismiss such talk. The extremity of the crimes committed in the canyon fuel the myth surrounding it, they say.

BURIED ALIVE 0_0

In 1937, a 19-year-old from France named Angelo Hays went for a motorcycle ride. Perhaps he had minimal knowledge of how to operate such a vehicle because he ended up crashing it and slamming headfirst into a brick wall. When help arrived, they found Hays’ head was mangled and he had no pulse. He was so terrible to look at that his parents were kept from seeing him for their own good. Hays was declared dead and buried three days later.

Due to an investigation by an insurance company, the body of Angelo Hays was exhumed two days after the funeral. It was quite the surprise to find that his body was still warm. Apparently, in the aftermath of the accident, his body put itself into a deep coma and required very little oxygen to upkeep his system.

After being buried alive, Hays received proper medical care and went on to make a miraculous full recovery. He then invented a type of security coffin that he toured across France. It was reported to contain “a small oven, a refrigerator, and a hi-fi cassette player.”

Monsters From Lovecraftian Horror Books

Cthulhu --
Cthulhu is the quintessential Lovecraftian god monster. It’s what first comes to mind when people think about Lovecraft’s writings. Throughout the years, we’ve been inundated with tremendous amount of grotesque monsters, demons and deities through our television screens. But Cthulhu remains chillingly eery because of what it represents.

Oh yeah and Cthulhu also looks like “a mix of an octopus, dragon, and a human caricature… a monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind. This thing, which seemed instinct with a fearsome and unnatural malignancy, was of a somewhat bloated corpulence..”

Nyarlathotep --
Nyarlathotep is also known as the crawling chaos. It is an evil god that can shapeshift into over a thousand different forms. The character was first found in Lovecraft’s poem titled Nyarlathotep. It was published in 1920 and is part of the original Lovecraftian canon. This being also appeared in a few other stories published throughout the years.
This beast is so scary that like the sight of a basilisk, one glance is enough to drive a man insane. When it assumes the form of a human, it turns into an Egyptian Pharaoh. Under the auspices of humanity, this sinister man reels in followers with his slick tongue and turn of a phrase.
On the subject of the character, Lovecraft remarked:
“I had never heard the name NYARLATHOTEP before, but seemed to understand the allusion. Nyarlathotep was a kind of itinerant showman or lecturer who held forth in public halls and aroused widespread fear and discussion with his exhibitions.”

THE GRIM REAPER

The Grim Reaper is not always reported as a frightening figure. Sometimes he is helpful. A man reported being on his couch one evening watching television. He saw the cloaked figure of the Grim Reaper, realizing someone was close to death. He ran upstairs and found his wife had attempted su***de. He was able to call an ambulance in time to save his wife (Chorvinsky, 1992).

In her book, Dancing past the dark: Distressing near-death experiences, the author, Nancy Bush, describes not only distressing near-death experiences but also distressing death-bed visions. Based on the information in this book, these Grim Reaper experiences could well be called distressing near-death visits, as described in this course. These experiences are similar to the previously described near-death visits but felt as distressing.

In these cases of distressing near-death visits, the patients perceive a figure as frightening, thus naming it the Grim Reaper. A parallel could be made with a patient who saw a hooded faceless figure but instead of being distressed interpreted the image positively believing the figure to be Jesus.

From the research about distressing experiences, we now believe there are distressing near-death experiences, distressing death-bed visions and distressing near-death visits. In all three cases the distress can come from the way a person interprets the image and/or experience not necessarily what is said or done.

DANCING WITH THE DEVIL

The Legend of Rose Latulipe, also known as The Legend of the Devil at the Dance and The Legend of the Beautiful Dancer, is a French Canadian legend (Quebecois and Acadian), from the 18th century. There are more than 200 different versions of the legend. The most well-known version was written by Philippe-Joseph Aubert de Gaspé, in 1837 in Le chercheur de trésor ou l'influence d'un livre.

This version recounts the story of Rose Latulipe, a young and frivolous girl who loved to dance. On the night of Mardi Gras, a stranger showed up at the Latulipe house and danced with Rose until the stroke of midnight. The stranger is revealed to be the Devil. According to some versions, the Devil disappeared, taking Rose with him to Hell. According to other versions, the priest of the village intervened, saving her. She would subsequently enter a convent and die a few years later.

The legend is one of many examples in French Canadian folklore of girls 'dancing with the devil.' The stories may have served as cautionary tales for young girls about the dangers of dancing with strangers who could be criminals, particularly during Lent or on Sundays.

DARK DISNEY—BRAIN-EATING PARASITES 🦠

Fancy taking a dip in the waters around River Country, Walt Disney World’s first ever water park? Well, I wouldn’t if I were you.
In 1980 an 11-year-old boy died after swimming in the park’s lake and ingesting a rare parasite.

The parasite, an amoeba called Naegleria fowleri – causes a ferocious infection that ultimately eats away at the victim’s brain and carries with it a 95% fatality rate. Despite the boy’s tragic death, River Country remained open for another 21 years.

The parasite was also discovered in the waters around the appropriately-named Discovery Island, which was also the property of Walt Disney World and finally shut down in 1999.

River Country and Discovery Island are the only two Disney parks to have been permanently shut down, and both have since been left to rot and deteriorate.

HOW MUMMIES WERE USED —PARTIES

People used mummies at parties.
the Victorians and hold a mummy unrolling party, which is exactly what it sounds like. While the craze is sometimes overstated—it’s not like every aristocrat watched Tutankhamen’s cousin unwrapped over sherry in his drawing room—these parties were a not-uncommon feature of 19th century British life, especially among those who fancied themselves the more scholarly sort.

According to Rogers, mummy unwrapping as a social event really got going in Britain starting in the 1820s, thanks to a circus performer-turned-antiquities salesman named Giovanni Belzoni, who had made a name for himself in Egypt-obsessed circles after arranging for the removal of several massive Egyptian artifacts on behalf of British consul to Egypt Henry Salt. In 1821, he held a public mummy unwrapping as part of an exhibition of Egyptian antiquities near Piccadilly Circus. The event proved an enormous success—over 2000 people attended on opening day alone. One member of the audience was London surgeon and scholar Thomas Pettigrew, who was so enamored of the spectacle he began holding his own public, ticketed unrollings, usually with an accompanying lecture.

While there was occasionally an element of serious science (Pettigrew went on to write the first book on mummy studies, A History of Egyptian Mummies, in 1834, and earn the nickname “Mummy Pettigrew”), the gawk-factor was usually a larger draw. Not only were the mummies themselves fascinating (if a bit pungent), their wrappings often contained valuable talismans and amulets lying in and around the body.

Members of the upper class copied Pettigrew, and the idea spread, with unwrapping events held both at large venues and in private homes. According to Rogers, “Often the mummy came from the host’s own collection and invitations were such as those issued by Lord Londesborough in 1850, who promised a ‘mummy from Thebes to be unrolled at half-past two.’“ Consider it the Victorian version of unboxing.

PEOPLE IN THE ILLUMINATI…ALLEGEDLY👀

Madonna

In 2014, Madonna released a song called “Illuminati” on her album Rebel Heart. The chorus repeats: “It’s like everybody in this party’s shining like Illuminati.” Madonna immediately clarified that she intended for the word to represent its earlier meaning—“enlightened”—as opposed to a continuation of the Enlightenment-era Illuminati. Our take? Whether she’s a member or not, it was definitely a calculated move to drop the i-word so casually. She knew it would get people talking, and here we are doing just that, years later. Well played, Madge

Lindsay Lohan
LiLo has long been the target of Illuminati claims. Part of me wonders if she’s too irrelevant to be considered a top member anymore, but another part of me thinks her departure from the public eye is what lends the theory its credibility. Quick: Where is Lindsay Lohan right now? We bet you have no idea, because she stays largely out of the public eye these days. After all, if you drop too many hints about being in the Illuminati, they’ll kick you out, and she doesn’t have much else going on right now.

Rihanna
RiRi is another celebrity commonly associated with the Illuminati, but honestly? I’m not sure if Rihanna cares enough to be a member. If she is, she’s definitely not an active one. Girlfriend couldn't care less about using her influence to achieve world domination and establish one central government. She just wants to smoke w**d and drink wine from the front row at fashion shows. Can you blame her?

HAUNTED PLACES IN CALIFORNIA — Brookdale Lodge, Santa Cruz

The Brookdale Lodge is considered one of the most haunted locations in Santa Cruz County. Built in 1890, the lodge boasted a series of celebrity guests, including Marilyn Monroe and President Hoover. Several tragedies resulted in the Lodge’s closure in 2011 the death of a guest, a damaging fire, and various code violations. Prior to its closure, multiple staff and guests reported seeing a small girl in a dated off-white dress running through the halls. Witnesses suspected she was Sarah Logan, a child who had drowned in a nearby creek in 1892. Sightings of the little girl became so frequent that staff designated a small area for her where they would leave toys and books, often returning to find the objects had moved. Paranormal investigators have captured multiple Electronic Voice Phenomenon that they believe to be Sarah.

DARK DISNEY—Suicide Mouse

Though the name suggests it was Mickey who met his untimely end, the story of ‘Suicide Mouse’ has a much darker story – one that has become a prominent internet legend in previous years. The disturbing ‘Suicide Mouse’ video is not only rumoured to disturb and distress those who watch it, but it has even been claimed to have caused the death of a film worker who watched it.
According to the urban legend, the film is a ‘lost’ black and white Mickey Mouse cartoon which on watching has a similar animation style to ‘Steamboat Willie’, however, the film is claimed to be a depiction of Mickey Mouse…in Hell.

The film opens with a rather mundane scene depicting Mickey walking across a stagnant city landscape with dull piano noises providing the background audio. After the repetitive scene has played out for two minutes, the screen goes black. Up until recently, it was believed that the cartoon ended there. However, a Disney employee who was sorting cartoons from the 1930s made the mistake of watching the cartoon through to the end.

While the employee was transferring the cartoon into digital copy he realised that the film was actually over 9 minutes long. In the sixth minute of the film, the cartoon suddenly reappears but the background piano noise has been replaced by a bloodcurdling scream. As the cry increases in volume, the picture distorts, with the city landscape warping and stretching across the frame. In the foreground, Mickey’s face appears to curve into a sinister smile before falling apart.

Nobody knows what happens in the film’s last 30 seconds, as only one person has seen the end footage and he did not live to tell the tale. According to eyewitness reports, after finishing the film the employee stumbled out of the film room incoherently slurring ‘real suffering is not known’ before grabbing the pistol of the nearest security guard and taking his own life. After his death, his notes were found in the office which provide the only information in existence as to what is contained in that last 30 seconds: "the sights of Hell bring its viewers back in".

The Lalaurie Mansion Mistreatments

Surprisingly, accounts of Madame Delphine Lalaurie’s treatment of slaves varies. Writings from 1838 feature many New Orleans residents recounting that her slaves were haggard and wretched in appearance, but Lalaruie herself was often seen being generally polite to African-Americans and considerate of her slaves’ health. Regardless, it is obvious that her beautiful abode, The LaLaurie Mansion, was home to its fair share of cruel and ugly secrets.

In the span of four years, twelve slaves were registered, but their causes of death were never mentioned. Rumor of her mistreatment of her slaves spread through the town rather quickly, resulting in a lawyer being dispatched to the mansion. Unfortunately, he was unable to find any evidence of mistreatment. This, however, did not stop tales of her cruel nature from spreading.

Many residents recounted, following the visit from the lawyer, a young girl who fell from the roof of the mansion while trying to avoid punishment, resulting in her death. It is believed that this child’s name was Lia (or Leah). It is believed that while brushing Madame Lalaurie’s hair she hit a snag, resulting in the unfortunate act to unfold. One bright side to this horrible incident is that it did lead to an investigation of the LaLauries and they were ultimately found guilty of illegal cruelty.

As a result, they were forced to forfeit nine slaves. Unfortunately, these slaves were bought back through an immediate relative and ultimately returned to the residence.
