I was lucky enough to have a Father who took me to the races on Saturday nights as a young teenager, the track I attended was called 'Freeport Speedway' on Long Island NY. The track closed in 1983 and it was a very sad ending of years of fun for Friends and Families that enjoyed all of the fun and excitement that the occurred there. I am sure almost everyone that reads this experienced the same tr

agic ending to a local track that they used to attend years ago. I have always enjoyed watching cars race, and with the internet full of photographs from all over the country and world I am now posting photo's I find appealing and with the input of people like you who are following my page I have been furnished info and stories that they experienced that were going on when the photo I am posting was taken. I hope you enjoy what is posted and if you have any information on what was going on at a particular race, please do not hesitate in sharing.
