JUSTICE DIVINE - S/t - 12’ - OUT NOW

Justice Divine is the new sensation coming straight from the bitterness of Brest. It is a new creation of Jacky, known among other things for being the bass player and composer of Syndrome 81. With Justice Divine Jacky can explore even more and develop the cold and dark side of his latest musical entities. But be careful this new band cannot be just considered as an extension of Syndrome 81, it is a whole new universe. Here we can hear as well the bright melodies of the current post punk of Drab Majesty or Soft Kill as the early gothic heavy coldness of Sisters of Mercy for example. The 7 songs on this first record are filled with rage of sadness, it’s the soundtrack of this winter, the soundtrack of these cold and uncertain times.

MEAT SHIRT - Acid Dove E.P. - 12’ OUT NOW !

In just over a year, MEAT SHIRT has found its way into the most demanding ears, and not only within the punk scene. The french far west (aka Brittany) saw the birth of a trio which does not forbid itself in any way, not unlike the pioneers of US hardcore that MEAT SHIRT readily cites as references : Zero Boys, Dicks, Minor Threat or Bad Brains. The band also knows how to venture into moving regions from garage punk (The Osees, Ty Segall, anyone?) to psychedelia or noise, building their very own stuff. « Acid Dove » brings seven relentless firebrands with singular energy. Like their first effort, this new opus was recorded by Jacky At the Movies recording in Brest and comes with a very special artwork by band drummer Hugues Pzzl.
