This 150ish minute compilation features 8 artists creating mostly Harsh Noise Wall utilizing a box fan as their sound source. This comp was created to honor the device that allows us all to fall asleep at night. While the air movement is important, it is the drone of the motor and blades that we require for slumber.

(i think) the newest project of Will Olter (Disposal Unit, Methlab Explosion), featuring Matthew Reis and Fred Goff. Do you like (old) Unsane? Of course you do, we all do. And in that case, you'll like this as well. Noise Rock with an AmRep feel. This is way better than the Aussie band with the same name.

In light of recent news of Gary Busey touching people inappropriately, I will soon be changing the logo to Jake Busey’s teeth and I will no longer be using any imagery or references of Gary. If people feel I should change the label name altogether, I understand and I will. I do not support or wish to be associated with that behavior and those that commit it. Please comment with your thoughts on the label name.

Name: BIG FANS OF BOX FANS

Synopsis: I cannot sleep without a box fan running. Even if I go somewhere and do not have access to a box fan, i will find a 10 hour youtube video of a box fan to play while i sleep. If you also must have a box fan running to sleep, you should submit for this compilation.

Details/Requirements: This will be a 2xCDr release. Each disc will contain 4 tracks. Submissions should be just under 20 minutes in duration. YOU MUST USE A BOX FAN (or a recording of a box fan) AS YOUR ONLY SOURCE. Contact Mics attached to fan permitted. Other noise generators, synths, or any other type of source input are not permitted. Edition of 50. Artists will receive 3 copies each.

Deadline not set as of yet, but the sooner, the better.
