Back when the PS3 was released and I was consumed by Call Of Duty, I regrettably gave my PS2 and all of my games to my sibling whom for some reason gave them away. 🫠

Luckily, today I was reminded of my childhood as a wave of nostalgia hit me walking past with the sight of Homer running away in fear. I was reminded of hundreds to thousands of hours worth of memories kicking Dr. Nefarious' butt, flipping through the air on snowboards, seeing myself on fire with early age filters, cage matches with old friends ending in actual bloodshed and reading maps and booklets in the car on the way back from begging mum to spend 120 dollars on a new game.

I remember glitching on top of a bus stop in Most Wanted staring at cops smash into each other for hours, watching my cousin steal discs from wrapped Christmas presents to play the new NFS, Hulk smashing the ground as a giant gorilla in Crash Bandicoot: Mind Over Mutants, turning off the PS2 one mission away from finishing Dogs Life because the Doberman was too scary (with no memory card), spending 12 hours straight playing Kingdom Hearts 2, memorising the best cheat code in GTA: San Andreas (R1, R2, L1, X, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP) and so much more!

After about 8 months of slumber, the mighty EM1's motor is finally being disassembled, ready for rebuild.
