I read this about the Crystal Beer Parlor on trip advisor and I have to say, I think this person expects too much special treatment. Anyone who’s been to the Crystal knows it is an historic building operating as a restaurant since 1933! Every group demanding special treatment has pushed the cost of doing business so high, small businesses like CBP are ever at risk of closing. Owner John Nichols has been doing everything he can to accommodate patrons including going above and beyond when it comes to modifying the property to meet the burdens of COVID response. Hence the the tent in the parking lot that provides for social distancing. Is it ever enough? I feel for disabled people. I’m sure it’s hell to navigate the cobble stones and treacherous staircases that exemplify the character of this city, but Crystal Beer Parlor is surely not the worst place for persons with disabilities.
