Steam Powered Preservation Society The SPPS is a electronic library that archives, saves, researches and shares historic Americana recordings. The server will be shutting down shortly.

Effective immediately

Steam Powered Preservation Society has lost our business license and 501c3 status through the state of Illinois and will have to be shut down. Please do not send in any further donations. We wish to thank all of our friends who have supported the work done by the SPPS for the last 13 years. Any previously received donations will be sent to a yet undetermined 501c3. We will

also look for a place to house the current library so that the work done by the SPPS remains available. It has been a wonderful 13 year run. We hope you learned a lot from the transferred tapes, please share your knowledge, keep listening and supporting live music.
