WHY DID THE OTHER TABLE GOT SERVED FIRST?

Sometimes, in restaurants, I can’t help but notice other tables being served ahead of ours, even though we ordered first before them. Do you experience the same?

In my younger years, I would complain. I would even question the server. In the worse situation, I'd call the manager.

What I didn’t know was, the other table might have ordered a simple dish that doesn’t need much time to prepare.

This made me realize that, it’s not about who ordered first. It’s about WHAT you asked for.

The next time we see other people getting answers to their prayers ahead of us, please know that God might have something special being prepared for you - every detail of it being taken care of - that’s why it’s taking longer.

Like in a restaurant, the moment you’ve placed your order, it’s already being taken care of in the kitchen. Expect it will come no matter how long it takes. The steak tastes really good when we patiently wait.

23 Marriage And The Family

Marriage was divinely established in Eden and affirmed by Jesus to be a lifelong union between a man and a woman in loving companionship. For the Christian a marriage commitment is to God as well as to the spouse, and should be entered into only between partners who share a common faith. Mutual love, honor, respect, and responsibility are the fabric of this relationship, which is to reflect the love, sanctity, closeness, and permanence of the relationship between Christ and His church. Regarding divorce, Jesus taught that the person who divorces a spouse, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery. Although some family relationships may fall short of the ideal, marriage partners who fully commit themselves to each other in Christ may achieve loving unity through the guidance of the Spirit and the nurture of the church. God blesses the family and intends that its members shall assist each other toward complete maturity. Parents are to bring up their children to love and obey the Lord. By their example and their words they are to teach them that Christ is a loving disciplinarian, ever tender and caring, who wants them to become members of His body, the family of God. Increasing family closeness is one of the earmarks of the final gospel message.

To my son,

Starting all over is one of the most difficult part of one’s journey because you feel all your efforts and hard work have gone in vain and you are back to where you started.

There are times in everyone’s life where you don’t seem to progress rather you have to redo what you have already done. It can be very frustrating and disappointing until we understand that there is always a reason for things to happen. Starting all over again, you start afresh but are well experienced so whatever you do, you are able to achieve better results. You get to experience things, assess what went wrong and improve your skills and At times, it is also an opportunity to do even those things, that you missed out previously, adding to your success.

Never be afraid of starting again. Starting again life is giving you another opportunity so you can improve on yourself before you achieve your goals.

Kaung mga ofw.. Mag ingat kau ipagmalaki ang mga paghihirap na naranasan nyo kumita lang ng pera. Nakakahiya sa mga taong mababaw ang pang unawa at sa tingin na nagmamalaki sa kabila ng hangarin mong tiisin ang hirap ng buhay sa abroad mabigyan lamang ng maayos na pamumuhay ang pamilyang umaasa sau na makamtam ang maayos na buhay!
