Grab your chair and your eclipse glasses! 🤩

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the giant eclipse events happening in Niagara Falls and Fort Niagara? We are here to provide a family-friendly alternative for locals!

Come to our small, chill, family-friendly event to celebrate the eclipse with your friends and neighbors! Bring your own lawn chairs to the Youngstown Free Library. We'll provide eclipse glasses to the first 150 attendees.

Food:
-hot dogs and water from the Youngstown Lions
-Girl Scout cookies for sale!

Kids' Activities:
-sidewalk chalking with the Youngstown Boy Scouts
-glow-in-the-dark tattoos (a hit even if it's cloudy!)
-decorating shields for eclipse glasses (protect those young eyes!)
-take home Take & Make craft kits for ages 5-10

Learning:
-learn about the eclipse science from the Youngstown Girl Scouts
-depending on the weather, we can livestream the eclipse inside

Escape the Traffic Issues:
-dedicated parking for handicapped & families in need
-we encourage biking & walking to the Library!
