When that Elevation of 11,152 ft hits…. Here’s what travel tips I learned so far:

Going from sea level to high elevation is no joke
😅

LESS is MORE. So grateful we traveled with just a backpack & a duffle for the week. Honestly, I wish I packed even less because every pound counts.

SLOW DOWN & don’t do too much on the first day . You’ll need your energy to breathe.

Wear light layers. It is COLD!

Take your time the first couple of days to help your body adjust to elevation. (1-2 days is ideal)

Eat light on your first couple day. Aquadito de Pollo (Chicken soup 🍲) for the win!

No caffeine , No alcohol , drink lots of Aqua & teas.

Breathe work helps.

Thankfully, Marcus was completely fine the ENTIRE time.
