PDP Campaign Inaugural Meeting in Leeds Galvanizes Support for Asue Ighodalo:

The Asue Ogie campaign team convened yesterday in Leeds for their inaugural meeting of the campaign council, marking the beginning of a series of planned engagements leading up to the election. The meeting proved highly successful, drawing leaders, critical stakeholders, and influential figures from the Edo community in Leeds. Together, they focused on strategizing initiatives aimed at advancing the state and rallying support for Dr. Asue Akintunde Ighodalo and Bar. Osarodion Ogie

The event featured Pastor Raymond Oseremen, PDP Deputy Director General Diaspora, who traveled from Manchester to represent Dr. Ighodalo. Pastor Oseremen delivered insights into Dr. Ighodalo's background and outlined his plans for the people of Edo. The session was broadcast live, ensuring inclusivity as attendees actively participated with questions and discussions. Key topics such as security, infrastructure, and continuity were extensively deliberated over the course of the three-hour event.

The deliberations culminated in a notable shift of support towards the PDP candidate Dr. Asue Ighodalo, with undecided individuals declaring their allegiance. Efforts continue in Leeds to garner further endorsements, with ongoing outreach aimed at encouraging individuals to pledge their support and mobilize their communities back home in Edo. Several invitees expressed intentions to mobilize voters, with commitments ranging from local support to plans to travel to Nigeria to vote for Dr. Asue/Bar. Osarodion Ogie and safeguard electoral integrity.

Albert Obazee, the convener of the meeting, and diaspora Media/publicity Director of the PDP Campaign Council, orchestrated the proceedings, ensuring a structured and productive engagement.
