Mockingbird Sound Recording Studio is one of Denton's newest and finest music production facilities. rs are aimed at creating an approachable environment to help facilitate your next record. Mockingbird Sound Recording Studio opened spring of 2016 in Denton, TX. Since then, we have recorded and mixed music in a variety of genres including jazz, indie rock, country, folk, metal, and hip-hop. We record digitally to Pro Tools and Reaper using high-quality AD/DA converters by Orion and Apogee, and we are currently working to integrate into our setup a recently-acquired Sony 24 track 2" tape machine, which will allow us to record all analog as well. We use outstanding pre-amps by SSL, API, UA, Focusrite, and others. We have an enormous microphone collection that includes ribbons, condensers, and dynamics by Neumann, AEA, RCA, Shure, AKG, Audio-Technica, Placid Audio, Sennheiser, and others, and we are continually expanding our outboard gear and plugins collection. Our facility includes a spacious control room, 90 square foot iso room, 238 square foot live room, large gear-storage room (soon to be converted into a keyboard room), kitchen, and bathroom. Our rooms are well-tuned and isolated, and we have plenty of gear available for you to use for your session! At Mockingbird Sound Recording Studio, we work hard to achieve our clients' visions and deliver recordings that are high-quality and full of life. We want to encourage our clients to exceed their own expectations, and we hope to create an atmosphere that is both comfortable and focused. We love getting to work on music with people, and we want you to leave our studio with experiences and recordings that you feel great about! We have custom drums from Ayotte, DW, and Ludwig (with a cymbal collection to match), a Story & Clark upright piano, Hammond M3 organ w/Leslie, Wurlitzer electric piano, Fender Rhodes, Nord Electro 2, Reason (with an extensive sound collection), and multiple guitars, pedals, and boutique amplifiers for whatever sound you can imagine. All you need to bring are your ideas!
