In The Heights is a musical we first saw off and on Broadway in 2008 by Lin-Manuel Miranda based on the book Quiara Alegría Hudes.
It follows the story of the latin-centric neighborhood of Washington Heights in Queens, where a kaleidoscope of dreams rallies this vibrant and tight-knit community.
At the intersection of it all is the likable, magnetic bodega owner, Usnavi who is played by @anthonyramosofficial
The bodega in the movie is much like your neighborhood bodega and is a hub for community, cafésito and ‘chisme’

@FridaKahlo has been an icon for many disenfranchised groups since her death at age 47. Her ultimate claim to fame was her celebration of Tehuana culture and her identity as a Mexican woman.
#FridaKahlo joined the Mexican Communist Party in 1948. During her time in America, she criticized the rich for throwing their money around while the poor suffered, and participated in a demonstration fighting against the CIA's invasion of Guatemala. She was also responsible for the asylum granted to Leon Trotsky by the Mexican government.

In the #docuseries, #demilovato opens up about her struggles with addiction and the #overdose that almost ended her life.
After her overdose, Lovato had three strokes and a heart attack, her doctors did not expect to see her live longer than ten minutes when she was admitted into the hospital.
“I was left with brain damage, and I still deal with the effects of that today. I don’t drive a car because I have blind spots in my vision. I also for a long time had a really hard time reading,” she said. “It was a really big deal when I was able to read out of a book, like, two months later because my vision was so blurry. I’ve dealt with the repercussions, and they’re there to remind me what could happen if I get into a dark place again. I’m grateful for these reminders.”
