2023; I read my bible all year, and here’s what I received. Prepare yourself, the storms don’t last forever, trust your intelligence and instincts on what’s moving around you and who’s moving around you. If you have time to be in the present do it, because you never know when it’s time for our ancestors to return home. Slow progress is better than NO progress. What’s for you will be for you! Cry.. we are suppose to water ourselves before we water anyone or anything else. No! It’s a complete sentence. No one is truly that busy as we say we are. We have coping mechanisms that causes us to be busy, but are we truly productive in our busy seasons. We are not depressed, we are just suppressing ourselves to believe as so! Your heart is fragile! Protect it as so! Sew into those who sew into you and sew into good ground. You’re not lonely, aloneness is a contribute to your elevation, everyone can’t and won’t go with you! You’re never to old to finish anything that you set your mind to! Your relationship with GOD, spirit, the universe or whom maybe your source is YOUR relationship and your connection to have! Your happiness won’t look like anyone else’s! What you see on the outside with someone could be burning hell with them on the inside. Wanting to better and doing better are two different things, discipline is key! Lastly, seek to be whole & not perfect and realize that the phase “ I don’t know is mental! We do know! Knowing is everything! We may need assistance getting there, we may need to go back to the drawing board, we may need to research, and we may need to remove, regroup, and reorganize. However the knowledge is reflected through our growth, whether that growth is good or bad is your determination. So stop saying “ I don’t know “. We know! We just have to get there and whatever that maybe for you is exactly what it is!! It’s your own purpose through your pain, strength & happiness. So keep going! 🫶🏾🏁💜

One of my favorites ♥️

"Mo' Money" (1992) is an action-comedy written by Damon Wayans and directed by Peter MacDonald. The movie also stars Damon, his younger brother, Marlon Wayans, and Stacey Dash. Columbia Pictures is responsible for the distribution, and Wayans was an executive producer. The film had an estimated budget of $10 million and grossed over $12 million on opening weekend, eventually grossing over $40 million worldwide.

Damon Wayans is the third oldest sibling from a family of ten, who are well-known for their incredible impact on Hollywood filmmaking. Damon's acting career started in 1984 in "Beverly Hills Cop," which transcended into additional roles, including "I'm Gonna Git You Suck" (1988), "Colors" (1988), and "The Last Boy" (1991). In addition, Wayans and his brother Keenen created the hit comedy sketch show "In Living Color" in 1990. Around this period, Damon became an incredible star, and many said he would be the next Eddie Murphy due to his talent and popularity. As a result, Wayans left "In Living Color" in 1992 to extend his film career, and "Mo' Money" was his first attempt at writing, starring, and producing a movie. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film's financial success created additional opportunities for Damon, leading him to a prosperous career.

Marlon Wayans was starring in his second film, but "Mo' Money" was his first with a significant role. Marlon Wayans' career quickly took off as he starred in "Above the Rim" in 1994, then produced, wrote, and starred in "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" in 1996. And that was just the beginning for him. Like his brother Damon, Marlon continued to extend his resume reaching crossover audiences with films like the "Scary Movie" series and the ever-popular "White Chicks."

Stacey Dash starred in her first film in the 1987 film "Enemy Territory," and a year later in the Richard Pryor movie, "Moving." She appeared in a few TV shows and eventually landed a role in "Mo' Money" as Damon's love interest. However, Dash's breakthrough was the 1995 film, "Clueless." She has over 61 acting credits and is still active in the industry today. Harry Lennix has over 131 acting credits that began in 1983 and appeared in several films and TV shows. He has produced over ten movies and directed two films. Finally, Almayvonne has over 15 acting credits and has made several short films. She appears in several TV shows such as "In Living Color," "Martin," and "The Jamie Foxx Show." She is currently still involved in filmmaking.

"Mo' Money" represents 1992 well, and the soundtrack solidifies that statement. It's a classic mix of Hip-Hop, RnB, and New Jack Swing, topping number six on the U.S. Billboard 200 and reaching the second spot on the R&B albums chart. Plus, a club scene in the film speaks to the early 90s style of partying. The film is worth the watch at least once.

Storyline

Soon, he learns that going straight doesn't pay very well, so he decides to nab a company credit card and show off his newfound wealth to Amber. Unfortunately, a blackmailer catches Johnny and forces him to commit a crime that is far from negligible.

My bestie and I got the opportunity to bond and complete some outside the box self-care chronicles with our pre-teens/teenagers.
We painted & snacked and asked them out of the box questions about family issues, s*x, self esteem issues, friendships, and even goals. This is something I truly enjoyed in the no judgement free zone that we gave them!

Our kids matter and they’re growing up so fast!

" I haven’t been the to myself lately." I recently met with my new therapist/ life coach last week.
•

She asked, what are you doing for you? You mentioned everything you do for others but, what about you? She also asked, when are you gonna let go of perceptions from others as well as the from the you made. You have no regrets however, you are heavy with so much fault when in reality it wasn’t your fault.
•

Having that conversation with her allowed me to cut off individuals that clearly said they want nothing to do with me. Moving forward, I only want people in my life that want to be there and that are not forced!
•

Everyone isn’t meant to be in your life for a so be patient and love on you and rebuild you because YOU it!

Allow your self to not dwell in the past in addition to carrying the past on your shoulders.
