The first project (write the lyrics sing the song) under The Rising Star was born out of deep research and meditation on the various talents and gifts of millions of youths in Nigeria that are yet to be discovered in our society. Out there in the streets lies talents and skills that are wasting away by the day without anybody noticing, nor they (youth) even having any hope of discovering their tal
ents, while others who have discovered their ability lack the opportunity of giving the world what they have to offer as a contribution to their society. That is why this project is majoring on hunting for talents and skills, giving them the chance to prove their worth and creating a platform for them to become something good in the society. Write the lyrics, sing the song can never be like every other project because; this particular project majors on people who have not made names for them or stars. We are not majoring on a person who has made it already, but to give an equal opportunity and right to every Nigerian ranging from the age of 13 years and above to maximize their intellectual knowledge and make use of their mental power beginning from the first step which is writing their song lyrics from the first level till the final stage where the competitors must have completed a full track which will now lead to the prize.
