Bonnie Raitt should know, since Rick toured and recorded with her for more than a decade - Bonnie, Fleetwood Mac, John Fogerty, and Bob Seger, among many more. Rick’s slide guitar solo on Seger’s “Like a Rock,” Chevy truck commercial has been heard by untold millions. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for his collaboration with Mick Fleetwood on “Blue Again.”

Rick’s passion for the guitar is just a notch above his infatuation with the automobile. He pays homage to Mr. Lucky, his 1969 Cadillac Sedan De Ville, by featuring the stunner on the cover of his latest album “Cadillac Man.” Rick’s eleventh solo release, the project features Rick’s guitar and vocals on all songs and his bass and percussion throughout the album.

Vito is the recipient of the W.C. Handy Blues Award for song of the year, “It’s Two A.M.” by Shemekia Copeland, and his compositions have appeared in movies and TV shows, including multiple episodes of the highly acclaimed, “Blue Bloods.”

Joining Rick in Leiper’s Fork will be drummer Lynn Williams (the Wallflowers), bassist Mike Joyce (Delbert McClinton), Grammy-nominated keyboardist Jimmy Wallace, and special guest Dana Robbins on saxophone. They will perform a tribute segment to the late, great Duane Eddy, among a night of incredible music and possible surprise guests!!

To the music pilgrims out there, heads up! Cadillac Man, the “Standard of the World” when it comes to guitar playin,’ is coming to Fox & Locke, 8pm, July 26.
