2025 Grand Winners & Finalists Announced!

We are excited to share the results of this year’s Oticons Faculty Film Music Competition!

🏆 1st Prize Winner: George Denis () from Timisoara, Romania! George will attend the exclusive Krakow Film Music Festival, featuring workshops, concerts, panels, and industry networking events.

🥈 2nd Prize Winner: Marco Rosetti () from Italy!

This year’s finalists showcase the extraordinary film scoring talent from across the globe. 🌍

✨ Congratulations to the Top 10 composers whose creativity and hard work have truly stood out. Jérémy Velez, Dougal Kemp, Daniela Nassar, Sobhan Afsarian, Andrey Mordovsky, Tim Ströble, Dimitris Tompazis and Erika Meyer & Alisson Pham!!! 💫

*IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION & INPUT ABOUT THIS YEAR'S ASSIGNMENT 3:*

We have received some inquiries regarding this year's Assignment 3, which features a scene from a film script currently in development. This year's scene, along with the director's brief, belongs to a genre film that blends psychological thriller and supernatural horror.

However, we want to clarify for those who may not be fans of this genre that the specific scene provided does not contain any horror elements to score. Your task is to enhance the storytelling by setting the tone and establishing the appropriate atmosphere.

To further assist you in understanding the context of the scene, we are excited to offer, for the first time, the Synopsis of the film. This will provide you with a clearer overview of what the registered composers are being called upon to score this year. As stated above though, only registered participants will be able to access the full Brief & the Scene of th Assignment.

Oticons Faculty Past Winners Spotlight!

was the 2nd Grand Prize Winner of our 2024 competition. Like .samuel , she is also a composer based in Paris and a string player! So she traveled together with our founder George Christopoulos, .oticons , and attended all masterclasses and concerts and networking events at the Krakow FMF! .krakow

During her attendance of the festival she met great composers like , , .phipps1, and many more!

Oticons Faculty Past Winners Spotlight!
samuel was the 1st Grand Prize Winner of our 2024 competition. He attended all the workshops at the Penderecki Music Center, organized by Krakow Film Music Festival and received mentoring from the Head of the workshop, Miriam Cutler!

Following to the workshop and the recording sessions, he attended all masterclasses and concerts and networking events at the Krakow FMF! .krakow

He also received 1-on-1 mentoring by our founder, George Christopoulos, .oticons during dedicated sessions!
