Bi-Joopiter was founded by Paul Rixon and Gillian Elam in 1983 in Hertford, UK. Originally it started as a DIY cassette-only recording label but later released vinyl as well. Labels, sleeves and packaging was almost always handmade and often in an unconventional manner.
