Our stay in Milan was amazing. We saw the world’s first shopping mall, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. We admired Leonardo’s “The Last Supper” and Michelangelo’s “La Pietà Rondanini.” The highlight was the stunning Milan Cathedral, with its grand architecture and intricate details. Milan is definitely the Fashion Capital of the world!

Everything in our hotel in Lake Como was spectacular. The service was impeccable, always attentive and friendly. The food was exquisite, offering a delightful taste of local cuisine. The views were breathtaking, with the serene lake and majestic mountains as our backdrop. The elegance of the hotel’s design and ambiance made our stay truly memorable.

Lago di Como took my breath away! To say it’s beautiful is an understatement. On our first day, we went for dinner at the Villa D’Este hotel, a classical Italian villa that showcases the glamour and refined elegance of this magical place. Our dinner was served beautifully, and my smashed basil gin and tonic was one of the best I’ve had. Villa D’Este is more than a hotel; it’s a must-see destination, perfect for strolling around their beautiful gardens.

Cinque Terre’s five little towns nestled in the mountains right by the Ligurian Sea are so picturesque that you feel immersed into their lifestyle instantly. Of all five, the best ones to visit are Vernazza and Manarola. Although Portovenere is not part of Cinque Terre, it is definitely the place to stay. Don’t miss the pesto-making class in Portovenere; we didn’t get a chance to take it but it looked amazing! The best way to move between the towns is by boat, allowing you to enjoy stunning views along the way.

Last week, I had an unforgettable mom/son trip to Lakeway to celebrate my son’s graduation! We spent time together, enjoying the stunning views and making memories with his whole grade that will last a lifetime. From boating on the lake to a delicious breakfast just the two of us, every moment was a perfect blend of adventure and bonding.

It was such a joy to see him reach this milestone and to share in his excitement. Here’s to more amazing adventures and cherished moments together!
