Ebolafreeghana A CALL TO DUTY EBOLA has killed over 1500 people in its recent outbreak. Ebola is estimated to infect about 20,000 people. What is EBOLA?

EBOLA is a deadly virus with a fatality rate of 90%. Thankfully, EBOLA IS NOT IN GHANA AND WE MUST ALL STICK TO THE PREVENTIVE MEASURE TO KEEP OUR COUNTRY GHANA EBOLA FREE. Ebola is severe infectious often-fatal disease. Ebola virus disease is characterised by sudden onset of fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, intense weakness, muscle pain, headache and sore throat. These are often follow

ed by vomiting, diarrhoea, rash, and bleeding tendencies (both internal and external) that may include blood spots in the eyes, blood in the vomitus, sputum, urine or stool, bleeding from the nose and other body openings. In Ghana, fear, ignorance, poverty, lack of education and some traditional practices would widen the spread of the virus. It is time we all inform and educate each other on PREVENTIVE MEASURES so as to reduce the spread of the disease. SPREAD THE FACTS; NOT THE FEAR.
