As part of their requirements in Entrepreneurship subject under Mrs.Maria Formento, the Grade 12 STEM students displayed their entrepreneurial skills by preparing and selling variety of foods for other students to enjoy. This activity started last April 29 and will conclude on May 10.
Prior to the first day of the two-week activity, each group in the two 12 STEM classes submitted to their subject teacher a proposal that contains their requirements and products to be sold. They implemented different techniques and strategies to attract customers. They came up with a unique name of their groups and created page to promote their products . Each group prepared snacks and drinks that are affordable and alluring to the customers.
The MANGO RIZZ team offers delightful snacks like mango jelly, graham balls and mallows, and Indian mango with alamang. The SIP SIP sa WRAP team has delectable lumpiang isda, lumpiang gulay, churros and refreshing magic water. You can't turn down the banana bliss and lumpianada of SNACK HAVEN, and you can't resist the crispy fries and cheese sticks and siomai of the TEAROB's. To those who have sweet tooth, you will surely love the pastillas, ice candy and blue lemonade offered by SWEET SUCROSE. The foods offered by these groups will surely make your taste buds and tummy happy.
The Grade 12 learners enjoyed in conducting the activity on the first and second day and looked forward to more exciting days of selling their products.
The goal of the entrepreneurial activity is for the grade 12 learners to apply what they have learned in Entrepreneurship like creating a business plan and presenting an acceptable and detailed business plan. Furthermore, the event aims to encourage and promote business-minded NZCians.
The Grade 12 STEM students will be assessed according to how they accomplished and ran their business plan, and how they carried out their assigned tasks individually.
When asked about what they benefited from the "selling experience", Aizel Lara Marcaida proudly stated that she enjoyed learning more about selling. "It's not only our entrepreneurial skills but also our communication skills that are enhanced through selling. Likewise, our mathematical abilities are utilized through giving the exact change and in computing our expenses and profit. We use our logical skills in thinking of innovative ideas for our products," Marcaida added.

The Northern Zambales College Incorporated (NZCI) concluded its 76th founding anniversary with its yearly search for Ms. and Mr. NZCI on March 15. The highlight of the evening was the coronation of Prince Noah Clave and Moja Angel Acierto, both from the Basic Education Department, who were proclaimed as Mr. and Ms. NZC 2024.

The coronation began at 8:00 p.m. as the candidates walked through the carpet as each of their names and titles were called to complete NZCโ€™s royal court.

In addition to this, the speakers shared some of their thoughts and aspired the candidates, as they were the chosen ambassadors for the school, starting with Mr. Honorato Ethan Edaรฑo, the representative of the office of the Vice President for Finance.

โ€œEvery member of the NZC community plays an essential role in achieving the school's vision and mission. Tonightโ€™s festivities serve as inspiration and may the achievements of our learners soon to be crowned motivate us all," Edaรฑo said.

Finally, the coronation began as the awarding of the sash down to the placing of the crown for the candidates started as the chosen Mr. and Ms. NZC, along with everybody in the royal court, came to the center with their parents and advisers or dean.

As the event commenced, Basic Education and every other department from the college exhibited their talents as they had their own intermission.

As the coronation ended, the candidates had their moment to dance with their partners while having their moment with their family as they rejoiced for their achievement.

To conclude, the emcees delivered their final remarks as the event wrapped up with their gratitude to the parents, teachers, and students who are there to represent not only themselves but also the NZCI.

Initial tryout for mobile journalism or "mojo" has been made by The Compass after its coverage for the 76th Founding Anniversary of the school.

This is the first time that the school publication launched its video broadcast as a way of honing the young journalists' potential not only in paper and pen but also to exhibit their visual potential.

With paint-filled hands and colorful canvases, the talented Northern Zambales College (NZC) grade 10 students created amusing paintings as their quarter performance task. Each meticulously painted canvas holding great meaning, distinct art styles and different topics.

Grouped grade 10 students combined their brightest ideas and brought out their raw talent and skill as they painted with pride.
Of course, a masterpiece costs as this act urged students to donate any amount to the respective paintings, the talented painters may also sell their artworks. Every single coin is valued as the collected donations will be used for the feeding program in Bunga.
Upon knowing that their art was not just a performance task, students felt thrilled.

"I feel happy that I can help people using my talent for a good cost and it feels very fulfilling knowing that my art is not just for performance tasks or entertainment but also for helping people in some way," Prince Noah Clave, a grade 10 -Abaka student, said.

Along those thrilling feelings, some were even shocked by results of their hardwork. Mark Joseph Gadingan, another grade 10 -Abaka student said, "Knowing my art is not just a performance task but will also help people, I felt joy, because my art was made for people in need. People even offered me large amount of money for my Art, I was shocked that my painting is triple the price I spend on it."
The boy scouts and selected students will also be affiliated with the act.

The student's hard work is paid off by a good cause.
Their attention to details is all appreciated. Each painting deserving of donations, each mouth deserving to be fed.

MASINLOC, Zambales - Northern Zambales College has opened the first day of its weeklong celebration in connection with the holding of the schoolโ€™s 76th founding anniversary starting today until Friday.

๐—™๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—ฆ๐—› ๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ง๐—˜๐—ฅ
The event started with the Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. John Mara and newly ordained priest, Rev. Fr. Manny Ebuengan. Fr. Mara in his homily stated that the road to 76 years of school was never that easy, he emphasized that it was fit to remember the struggling years of the institution until it reached its status now.
Right after the mass, the NZC family took possession of the thoroughfare to offer the community a not so novel spectacle, the holding of the parade. The sea of colors representing each department enthralled the onlookers. The sun after it crisply crept above the cloud did not impede the NZCians from exhibiting their presence.

๐—ง๐—›๐—˜ ๐—ข๐—ฃ๐—˜๐—ก๐—œ๐—ก๐—š
An opening program follows subsequently after the parade. The deans from the different departments graced the event. Sir Ethan Edaรฑo, in a rare occasion, represented the Office of the Vice President for Finance and was present in the activity.
Anchored by the theme, โ€œNZC at 76: Soaring High with Godโ€™s Blessings,โ€ Madam Emma Edaรฑo, the school president in her welcome remarks during the Opening Program stated that the blessing of the Lord is indeed felt in the institution. She even stressed out her gratitude to the parents of the NZCians for the continued trust they are giving the school.

๐—” ๐—™๐—ฅ๐—ข๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—–
Adding a visual feast to the audienceโ€™s delight is the mass demonstration presented by the Basic Education department. The performances that left everyone in awe were choreographed by Sir Sandro Majadas and Ms. Bhannjhoe Pascual.
Rigidly practiced dance sequences and colorful props added fascination to the flock. A unity dance which is undeniably a trademark of NZC capped the dayโ€™s morning session. The College of Tourism and Hotel Management students led the dancing which was participated in by the entire NZC family.

Packed with lots of enthusing events for the day, the afternoon served as a conduit of discovery after the NZCians displayed their sporty know-how after they had joined the different events like, Mobile Legends Tournament, table tennis, and volleyball.
Booths offered different stunts that made clients stay in the school the whole day. A promise that the next day will maintain the surging momentum. Slowly the place gets depopulated at five oโ€™clock in the afternoon.
