Even though we are proud norwegians, this has to be said in English for the entire world to understand!
We are so proud to finally reach the finish line!
Plenty of hard work has been put into this, just as needed while making great country music! The finished result has been recorded live at Memphis Bound Studio- beautifully engineered by none other than Magnus østvang at the helm!
Tracked on tape, just like in the good ol` days, mixed together with k***s and faders from back when life was analogue, when auto tuning meant fiddling with carburetors. We think it turned out pretty darn good, and that is because of all the amazing people who has been there at our service. This may become a rather long story, but keep on reading!
"I Ain`t Made For City Streets" has been running in my blood for a long time, and togehter with the legendary Adam Fisher, quite a few Coors Lite, and maybe one or two shots of Fireball liquor, it was written down on paper in 2018 at Aura Lea Studio, Nashville TN! That song was the start to this journey. When we sobered up we went to see our dear friend, the amazing Jim Lightman and with his endless generosity he helped us track a demo at the famous House of Blues Studios! Turns out, one song ain`t enough for an entire album, so after two more years with lots of coffee, some Jim Beam whiskey, a guitar and a pen, the boys in the band needed to learn atleast three cords. But in order to serve up some hot country stories it needed more than a few dirty old hippies.
The list is long, we`ll start at the beginning:

Thank you Magnus østvang for letting us in to your studio, and for turning all the k***s and sliding all the faders. You sure made it sound good! Thank you Glenn H Gran for bringing us beers! You guys have captured the sound, just as we wanted it!
Back in the sixties the backup vocals sounded amazing. They are just as amazing today, thanks to Aud Ingebjørg Barstad!
Anyone who has been to the jungle says that it can be exhausting to find your way. Our jungle, aka the "music industry" feels the same. We have been lucky though, we found someone to guide us. Kjell Ove Torkildsen, you have put us on some of the biggest stages in Norway, thank you!
The calendar tells us its 2024, and things aren`t very analogue anymore. So to enter the digital world of streaming music, we have signed on to Baaten Records, and with the amazing help and guidance of Bjørn Barstad we are on most streaming platforms near you!
So many amazing, kind, talented, professional and otherwise exceptional people has been there for us!
To wrap it up, like John F. Kennedy nearly said it: "Ask not what country can do for you, ask what you can do for country!"
We have really felt that! ❤️
