GIRAV Project Supports Validation of GIEPA Communication Strategy and Action Plan (2026–2030).

The Gambia Inclusive and Resilient Agricultural Value Chain (GIRAV) Project, through the Central Projects Coordination Unit (CPCU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Security, on Wednesday convened a validation workshop for the Draft Communication Strategy and Action Plan (2026–2030) of the Gambia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (GIEPA).

The workshop opening ceremony was held at Bakadaji Hotel and brought together key stakeholders to review and validate the proposed strategic framework aimed at strengthening GIEPA’s communication, visibility, and stakeholder engagement.

Speaking on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of GIEPA, Mr. Madi Kambai, who also serves as Chairman of the GIEPA Board, officially opened the workshop. Also in attendance were Ms. Rohey Samba Jallow, Consultant for the GIEPA Communication Strategy; Mr. Baboucar Camara, Senior Communications Officer at GIEPA; and Mr. Abdoulie Touray, Director of CPCU and the GIRAV Project, among other stakeholders.

The workshop was funded by the Government of The Gambia and the World Bank. The GIRAV Project supported the development of the Communication Strategy and Action Plan as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen GIEPA’s institutional capacity and enhance the effective ex*****on of its mandate.
