Unveiling the phenomenal ‘Return to Slaughter Fest’ art work by my comrade Brendan Skulham (Diocletian/Abraxxum) takes me back 13 years ago when the 1st Trendslaughter Fest took place against all odds! The entire reason of starting this festival was to shove a “big fat middle finger” right in the faces of individuals, bands,venues that abhorred the very definition and ethos of extreme metal. Due credits to my comrades Vikram Bhat,Kiran MunipallePritham Denzil D'SouzaVamsi Kanagovi who put their hearts and money into building this festival out of utter devotion to the music that made us friends in the first place!

Over the years we brought in some of the most uncompromising talented bands from around the world and forged a brotherhood with the scenes of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, South East Asia, Far East and Europe and North America!

Return to Slaughter is hark back to those glorious years (2011-2018) and in the wise immortal words of Venom - Welcome to Hell!

Cyclopean Eye Productions and Mahatobar Distribution are proud to announce the ‘RETURN TO SLAUGHTER’ Festival to be held on November 9th 2024 with the return of the mighty ‘IMPIETY’ as our headliner!!!

Return to slaughter is a continuation of the successful TRENDSLAUGHTER festival (2010-2018) that defined the emergence and flourishing of the extreme metal movement of India and South Asia! Orator, Abigail, Cauchemar, Blood Division, Impiety, Demilich, Cult of Fire, and a host of Asian and South Asian bands have played past editions!

With several fan requests to bring back this festival, we have decided to given in and continue to this festival under a new moniker!
