We are back for a new year extravaganza to Casa del Ritmo showcasing some of the best Latin acts London has to offer. Come and party with London’s Latin community and their friends,Join us to dance, listen and learn about any Latin American rhythms and their roots this time bringing traditional music from the Andes and carnavalito celebrations taking you to a journey of all latin american countries and their rhythms..
Our special guest of the night is well-known local musician Kanti Qena a multi-instrumentalist from Peru and afro-andean fusionist leader of @Lokandes. One of the most respected musicians based in London and featured in many different bands and music styles during his more than 20 years in London. Next to him the amazing @PhaxsiCoca from Bolivia introducing the sound of the Andes and their folkloric origins introducing different variants of Andean music, his influences and fusion of Afro-Latin music alongside his close friends during his musical career in the UK.

Kanti Qena has played solo and alongside his band the likes of legendary South American acts Kjarkas (Bolivia) and Susana Baca (Peru), Chico Trujillo, Juana Fe's Juan Ayala, O2 Arena roots & flutes festival, British museum, Bestival, Glastonbury,Royal academy of arts, Saatchi Gallery, Jazz Cafe, Ronnie scotts, Hideaway among others.
Hosted by DJ Carlitos Nino (Arriba la Cumbia/Latinos in London) always brings a fusion of Latin and global beats alongside the most recognized and emerging artists.
