My first ever ✨hair tip✨video
This is how I usually air dry my hair now thanks to my stylist Tina at the Loft Styling Studio in Boulder (boulderhairloft.com) teaching me one day. Life changing!!!
Fun fact—I was an apprentice at a hair salon for one year and have always enjoyed all things hair! My own hair is naturally wavy and moderately thick but it admittedly styles well. But, this is definitely worth a try to see if it works in your hair because it is so easy and then you have styled hair for days after it dries! I usually wear this for a day, sleep on it, and then take it out the next day.
If you take a flat iron to the ends of each twist before you untwist once fully dry, you get even more of that beachy wavy look with the straight ends. I do this maybe a quarter of the time when I feel like it. It’s also easy to add a few more defined waves with a hot tool on top after you take it out if you want to—I often do so on day 2 or 3 of the air dried waves!
Sometimes I take the two ends and layer them over one another across the back and secure with a large claw clip going horizontally rather than the vertical way you might normally wear a claw clip. Let me know if we need a story video of that!
Special thanks to @meaghan_dawson_ for the push because I am finally posting this 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
